Something (from either company) must be doable, you can't and shouldn't accept that such a fundamental piece of EU rolling stock be forever limited to this bad show.
It is indeed unacceptable, especially to the customers who bought and still have this train. I find it extremely distasteful that in 2024, we still don't have a full fix to this train. Either DTG or Skyhook NEED to provide an adequate fix to it.
Sadly every now and then BR 187 threads get a spike of activity complaining about this abysmal product however it never gains the same traction or attention as some threads dedicated to complaining about Rivet or DTG!
Hm I have to annoy you for a while. Why don't you take this DLC out of stores? So Sony Xbox Stram epic etc. I mean the product is defective and many are just complaining about it I mean that would be the same if I buy a car and well in the end just get a rusty bike
There are plenty of low quality and outright broken DLCs that DTG have not withdrawn. There's also plenty of fully functioning ones that were withdrawn without reason, like the dinky Class 02 for TS. DTG aren't going to withdraw the BR187. Not only would it be cutting off a source of income, people would complain about not being able to get it. It's irredeemable as a train to drive in TSW, but as AI it is mostly alright.
And here we come to a point of constant complaints, be it via the forum or the support shield, the support now from Microsoft or Steam or Epic. It is a burden for all those who buy it and who give the support. On the one hand, I also understand DTG that you have to secure a source of income, but not at the expense of the players. (My opinion) And yes, I agree with you too. To. Good things are taken out. Bad things are maintained. gg and I don't want to know how many complaints you've already got about this DLC. In a way I wish the DLC could be sold permanently discounted or just given away, with a warning at the very top of the description that says that the DLC is broken and will never be fixed, or something along those lines.
The BR 187 is having the same fate as the “TS Pro TGV Réseau & TGV RD” DLC, they say for years it’ll be fixed but in reality it won’t. Maybe we’ll have a decent Traxx 3 locomotive for a future DLC but it’s a shame the 187 is still sold at full price, one of the worst DLC ever…
Ironically the TGV Reseau was fully functional bar the pantograph issue, which was comparatively minor compared to the near limitless problems with the BR187 pack. It's also ironic that the BR187 in TS (which used the Skyhook model but was made and released by Dovetail) is far better than the TSW version.

The model was never the problem with the BR187. I'd go as far as saying that ignoring the headlight issue (which the TS version doesn't have) it's one of the better models in TSW. It's just that Skyhook weren't able to make the rest of the train properly.
Yes, with the model I meant no matter who took over from Sky seemed to be under heavy medication influence.
Easy, because this one on old DLC that will never get fixed, like the Br112, it's abandonware. DTG still releases content that is broken or subpar in one way or another and that will end up as abandonware half a year later. Why is the Br114 just as broken as the Br112 while being 3 years newer, they clearly learned absolutely nothing and that's significantly worse than ancient DLCs being broken, at this point anyway.
