BR 363, Service 54873, Journey mode. Train derails while attempting to attach the cars. Attaching the save file, maybe someone can figure it out? This is the first time I've seen something like this. I tried again, and everything worked from this save. I don't understand it — about five times the cars flew into the sky, but on the sixth try, everything was fine
What speed are you attempting to couple at? Over 5km/h and the game will quirkily decide the rough shunt derailed the train.. Have you unlocked the coupling bar on the loco? Try approaching the wagons but stopping just short without touching and you should still be able to get the coupling dialogue.
I did exactly that; there's no auto-coupler there. The locomotive was stationary when I was attaching the cars, but as soon as I hit the coupler, both the locomotive and the cars immediately flew into the sky.
