As the title says. I don’t seem to be able to get the Tees Valley dlc content layer in the new Preston to Carlisle route. any help would be appreciated
Raised a ticket, I think it has to do with the Tees Valley add-on not showing as TSW5 in the game content even though it plays.
Class37 service I think you still need the Class 31 and cement wagon add-on ..... with the Tees Valley route I also activated the Class37BBA layer and I guess it should be 37 + steel wagon, but I haven't come across that anywhere on the line, I'm guessing an AI train
There are only 3 services for the Tees Valley class 37. You must have the Class 31 loco DLC installed for them to show-up in the timetable, as they need the cement wagons from that DLC pack. 6M61 - Mossend to Clitheroe 6S83 - Clitheroe to Gunnie (Part 1) 6S83 - Clitheroe to Gunnie (Part 2) The BBA steel wagons only show-up on speedlink services from what I've seen, usually behind a class 47 or 87.
The BBA steel wagons come with the Tees Valley Line route DLC, and that route is set in 1989. As Preston to Carlisle is set in 1986, and you own Tees Valley Line now, it makes sense to include the BBA wagons as layers, as they fit the time period. The livery that the Class 37/5 locomotives are wearing is called "Railfreight Metals Sector" or "Trainload Metals" ... which didn't actually exist until 1987, so it is not correct for the Preston to Carlisle time period. BUT, you can now make the connection between the locomotive livery and the BBA steel wagons. Have I confused you enough yet?
Yes, completely confused...... There are still BBA cars in the WCMLOS base map.... In other words, I won't see a BR37 hauled train anywhere in operation there, except for the three cement services.?
I think Tom (Just Trains) mentioned on a pre-release YouTube stream, that you may see some class 37s travelling under the railway bridges at Carlisle, but I am not 100% sure. Also, I posted a couple of links on your profile page that you may find useful.
I looked, thank you...so actually the BR37 livery from Tees Valley is from 1987 and later...am I understanding correctly?
Yes, that is correct. Before 1982, almost everything was BR Blue. From 1982 to 1987, we had Railfreight Grey Large Logo. And from 1987 to 1994 we had the new Railfreight sectors.
