Wcmls Major Update (december 2024)

This seems quite a balls up even for those who have received the update...

 

Guess it will be best to continue to leave WCMLS in the ignored corner, until this gets sorted then.

 

HOA and TEA Are Cargo Lines Vol 1 and 2. The HKA is a new add on but hasnt released yet.

 

Did they say something about shunting jobs as well also everything still looks as it did before just pick a few freight jobs and only had 12 wagons I mean what was in that 4.5gb update

 

Already available.

 

I am on pc and now show well over 900 services.

 

Ah! Got to finish up a run on Maintalbahn then I shall take a look.

 

A note to anyone that has JetWash and company's eps along with faux's timetable, all of these are causing UE crashes and need to be removed.

 

The font on the London Overground station signs still looks suspiciously like the default font that was there before.

 

Really ? I thought they might be around 800.

 

I’m on ps5 with the update installed and still only showing 638 services.

 

Done a North and South run.
New grass and plant and the trees are a big improvement.
No more flashing water textures.
Slight improvement around Watford and Wembley performance wise.
First 350 run was a 8 carriage, suspension is there.
I'll have a run on the Bakerloo after I've made the tea.
I'll get the gameplay pack when it's available;
Likely to add a bit more traffic??
I'd like to know if the update is fully completed; apart from bug fixes.

Just looked again, 794 in timetable and 8 scenarios for 802 total.

 

So does Steam have the right patch at this point? At work atm so will have to d/l when i get home

Just did a night run on the watford dc line from euston. Really good improvement I would say much busier passed lots of underground trains , and 5 car 710s. Really impressed and night lighting was actually looking very good, not sure if they did actually improve that, but it certainly looked good. Also lots of incorrect aws warnings removed and signalling all good. Got off at Watford PIS now showing all correct which is great , and it definitely felt busier.

 

I thought the fix for AI Pendolinos to allow them to travel at 125 was meant to be included? I just did a run and every one of them was still travelling at 110. It's not in the patch notes either.

 

I've just had another update on xbox I have 792 services now and the 5 car 710

Can you please confirm:

1. Which layers are now needed for WCMLS to get the 'full' experience? An article might be helpful with exact breakdowns, but I of course wouldn't want to ruin any 'Easter Eggs'
2. Re the 390/1 - are these additional as in compared to the number showing, or additional as in added in the update? If the latter, do you know how many more playable 390/1s have been added please?
3. Should 390 conductor mode from the main menu be coming in a later update
4. Are there additional playable or ai 350 services in the latest update?

I'd appreciate answers to any you have on hand, particularly Q1. Don't worry if they are unknown.

Don't see any changes to freight, what happened to the promised TEA, HTA etc etc services we were promised? The 66 TT is unchanged.

 

PC and PS5 both with all UK DLC

PC = 794 services
PS5 = 638 services

Comparing it looks like it’s underground and 710 services that are missing. Both have significantly less than the PC if the counters are correct.

No mods on PC. PS5 freshly installed to make sure I had the latest versions.

 

This might be a stupid question but are there now 5 car class 710 services in timetable mode? If so are these automatically included now?

Thanks Matt I definitely did think it looked better , so enjoyed the night run from Euston to Watford!

 

PS5 currently hasn't received the new timetable.

 

PS5 user here, nothing new yet. Waiting patiently!
Should we expect 794 or 940 services...depending on what layers you have?

 

Something positive and not in the patch notes that I can see. Signal WS37 at Stonebridge Park now correctly shows Green / Amber matching the hud. Before it was always Red. That at least makes me happy as I enjoy driving the 710 and it felt wrong going through Red even if the hud said it was ok.

Still getting an incorrect AWS warning coming out of Euston though just after you go down the ramp and up the other side.

In general though, driving out of Euston in a 390 in the early morning was an absolute pleasure. Had a 390 and 710 parallel running soon after leaving then lots of traffic on the Overground / Underground Lines + different length 350s. Looking forward to downloading it on my desktop tomorrow with mods.

On Xbox SX I have done the full update but the Overground roundels still have the previous font unfortunately.

 

Has anyone got the full update on PS5 yet?

 

The update seems to have broken something on the 350. The instrumental light dimmer (des light) isn’t working, which makes driving at night (HUDless) a bit of a nightmare.
Anyone else experiencing similar problems? I’m on PC and prior to the update everything worked fine (and yes, I have the latest version of the EP from today). Problems occur on both the DTG and fawx’s timetable

 

After the update the game now crashes when I try to play the dlc

 

Not yet I beleive its still being looked into for consoles

I'm on xbox x and pretty sure I have not got the full update all the hype for this awesome update I was expecting what a let down it is right now

 

I have tried the 350, the 377 and the diesel 66, every time the game crashed.
