Route West Coast Main Line: London Euston - Milton Keynes - Feedback

Does AI switches the headlights in real time or only at the start of a service? Cause it's a night already with scenery lights on(which is a miracle), but AI's still running in "day" configuration.

 

Still did wcml today, and I crashed between South hampstead and Euston. Xbox series s. I saw a lot of trees which could have contributed. The service was Crewe to London Euston

Can we get the 15mph speed restriction working in Euston? The speedboards are present and the TPWS will stop your train if you approach the buffers any faster.

Hemel Hempstead North End needs the platform finishing off.

The black fence runs all the way down the ramp. There is a wall at the end of the platform.

Also at Hemel Hempstead North End, when the platform is finished, the signage needs moving as the 12 car mark is down the ramp at the north end.

 

Crashed for me again at Euston right at end of platform. Hoping it gets sorted soon.

 

DTG Alex - please can the saloon lighting for the Class 350 be fixed? A lot of them run in total darkness on night runs.

 

DTG Alex I don't know whether DTG is aware about this issue, but it makes WCML literally unplayable...

Class 350 has some major memory issues resulting in FPS drops and blurry textures if more than one unit is in the area.

(for comparsion same amount of 377 has been spawned and everything is allright)

The 350 is having it's physics reworked by Dovetail.
It's an all platform issue that some of the more knowledgeable individuals have already spotted.
Should get the suspension included with the fix , when Dovetail have finished the work.

1 Trillion trees still remain in the air at Watford Junction.

 

I have noted the red on ground v green in HuD at Stonebridge Park. Though I have never noted the trees up in the air.

 

Got mods installed?
Not there for me, I'm on pc steam.

 

I have a foliage increase draw .ini mod, but they still shouldn't be there, the mod doesn't add things to the route.

 

Just done two timetables through Watford, this evening,nothing apart from the frame rate issues, with static/moving 350's at the station .Always look around at the station stops.

I wonder if your draw distance increase has shown the possible frame rate problem at Watford?It doesn't show up at standard settings.

What pc specs do you run with?
Don't have the blurry texture issues on the wcml or any other routes.
It's a puzzle why some on pc are suffering with this.Never had the problem with 4 or 5.
Pc steam no mods.2070 super,and 3600,32 GB ram, separate SSD for install.

Of all the (some of them of course justified) whinging about this game, this has got to be the saddest 'complaint' I've ever seen.

Maybe I'm just lucky on my Series X (or maybe I'm just not as bothered as some) but I've yet to experience any issues on this line and certainly not any as trivial as this !

Honestly never known such a self-entitled, constantly complaining, gaming community such as this one

Don't have to be a mole to think that somebody taking the time to take a screenshot, annotate said screenshot and post about it all because a tiny section of wall is "missing" or a stop marker is a few feet away from real life, is taking pickiness to absolutely absurd (and sad) levels.

Each to their own though and all that. Whatever makes you happy, although this 'community' seems to be in a permanent state of misery.

But To be fair u will never find a route with no problems because a route will always need fixes to it.

For those who are are experiencing crashes on services facing Euston in the London area. I recommend you try the MK side as the journey between Watford Junction and MK central is really smooth. For me, doing it towards MK on my xbox series s is so much nicer as it feels really smooth which is good.

 

I would like to see/hear tunnel reverb when passing through Wembley Central. Its not a major problem but its something I always notice in real life when speeding through, is the change in sound.

 

Having the same issue. Can’t enjoy a full run from MKC to EUS because it keeps on crashing. Xbox Series S here.

 

I'm driving a service that terminates at East Croydon, not Wembley Central! Does the upcoming update fix this?

Also, I don't think these services are 4 coaches in real life.

 

1H02: London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly

Destination doesn't show on PIS board. Also, upon arrival at Milton Keynes, why is there an instruction to lock the doors? I arrived at 06:40 and the service is not due to depart until 06:44. Kinda pointless closing the doors only for the AI to reopen them (although this is an issue on other routes as well).

 

The good thing us leaving Euston, you don't have the crash, but on the journey back between Watford Juction and Euston. DTG Liam, could you guys work on optimising Watford junction to Euston as it gets rough especially when you get into Euston which indicates in crashes. I have had a crash on guard mode around Wembley yard. Xbox series s. Just as a note, I have turned the layers off in the past and it still crashed a lot. I recon it is the scenery. I have completed a lot of services, but that was Euston to MK, it's just the MK to Euston which is the problem.

 

The place where I constantly crash is either on the approach to Euston just after south hampstead tunnel or its in Euston. But its mainly the approach to Euston

Mine always crashes at this point on the PS4, it never seems to be rectified by any patch update, it's beginning to get very irritating now

 

You're just going to have to get used to it unfortunately.

PS4 and Xbox One are increasingly unable to cope with the game.

 

I think xbox one and ps4 are keeping gen 9 behind. Once gen 8 isn't on tsw, then it should be fine

Still no portals? In Scenario Planner I can not see any portals which was supposed to be a major new feature in TSW5? It means I run out of destinations at MK pretty quickly. Also still can't specify AI services for tube trains (e.g. platforms 2 & 3 are still not available to select at Queens Park). I can take over a timetable service at Queens Park but I can't specify AI services in a scenario?

 

If gen8 was holding gen9 back, there wouldn't be differences in timetable and detail between the 2. Gen9 wouldn't have a busier timetable than gen8 for example

 

For some reason the layer filter says i don't own the HKA wagons, although i own gwe?
