Good morning, afternoon or evening, here is a list of routes and train DLC’s that I would love to see in TSW5 (1. Being the one I want the most) 1. Ayrshire Coastline Glasgow Central - Ardrossan Harbour, Largs & Ayr. With the class 380 set in modern day. [but why do I want this route in-game? Well, it’s because this route is my childhood, I go to Largs incredibly often and it’s my peace place, it would be amazing to see my childhood line in the game] 2. Glasgow Argyle suburban network. Dalmuir & Milngavie to springburn, Larkhall, Motherwell & Cumbernauld. With the class 318,320 & 334. Why would I want this route in the game though you may ask, well, there’s section between argyle street and bridgeton, runs underground right beneath my house (doxxed in a game lol), and I travel on this line pretty often when going to the Exhibition centre for the Yearly Christmas carnival at the SECC, and Partick being as busy as it is, it’s the interchange with the buses and Glasgow subway and a Morrisons lol. And whenever I go the QEUH hospital every few months for my heart checkup, I get the route 77 bus which stops at Partick and I always see trains going across the bridge there. It would be wonderful to have it ingame. 3. Liverpool Lime Street / To Chester & Moorfields - Headbolt Lane With The TFW Class 197 & Merseyrail 777 [but why do I want this route ingame? - well, I think it’s incredibly interesting as from what I know, it’s one of 2 routes that Transport for “Wales” operate, than don’t enter wales. The route is relatively short with 1 run taking approx 40-50 minutes to complete for TFW, and this route would be especially interesting with the addition of Merseyrail to the game. 4. south western railway Commuter London Waterloo to Woking and strawberry hill. With the class 701 Arterio, 444, 450, 455 & 458/4. Why would I want this route ingame tho? Well, there’s a great mix of Nonstop, Regional express and stopping services which should make all players want this route, through dense London scenery out of the bustling Waterloo. And if the timetable gets recreated well, this route will be incredibly busy. 378, 377 & 387 layers at Clapham junction and all of the rolling stock mentioned above, would make all of Clapham junctions platform taken at one time. It would be fantastic. 5. The Glasgow subway. *granted that it costs no more than £10-20* The Glasgow subway is the subway of my city, it is short and takes under 30 min to loop around the loop (lol), as the new 2024 stock is Automatic (no driver), this route would be best to be set in probably 2020, with the 1980 stock. And with trains being somewhat every 5-9 minutes in each direction from 5am to midnight, the line would be incredibly busy. But it’s not as if your seeing the trains and your in tunnels the whole time. Probably not the most interesting for scenery enthusiasts. But this subway line is especially special for me and hope you guys could consider making this, it wouldn’t be much work either! honourable mentions: Any Sydney line with the T Set (tangara) Craigieburn Line, Melbourne. Birmingham New Street - Shrewsbury w 196 Class 730 Addon for Birmingham-cross-city berninalinie Extension to st moritz. Arosa Remaster w RHB 8/12 Allegra layer Manchester airport to Blackpool w northern Civity’s Chiltern railways Marylebone to Oxford Metropolitan Line
Giselabahn: Saalfelden to Worgl Portsmouth direct Southampton to Bournemouth Isle of wight in steam days Isle of wight steam railway Blue Bell railway Metropolitan line Piccadilly line Rivera line London to Peterborough (East Coast main line South)
1 & 2 definitely. 3 only if t 1&2 definitely. Ayr would be my preference as I want another route out of Glasgow Central. The Merseyrail would get my vote if it was set around the last year or two so you could have 507/508s working alongside the 777.
Come in no 4 You're time has come. It's about time Waterloo to Woking with a sprinkle of branches. It's a remarkably varied route scenery wise.
Ayrshire coast line would be amazing. One of my local lines! (I live between Kilmarnock and Irvine and frequent both stations when travelling)
I don't get why so many people want the Glasgow Subway to be added to TSW as the route goes in a circle..
Settle & Carlisle with freight and passenger trains. Flying Scotsman would be perfect for railtours on this route. A Class 50 "Hoover" would also be awesome to see, as well as a Class 55 Deltic (also for excursion trains). A Class 60, 37, 47, or 57 would also be great for freight or passenger services.
It was made for TSC which many players enjoyed. I would like to see it. But id like to see any subway routes as I’m a fan of them. lol.
Agree with these suggestions, the only other suggestion I would make is something including Perth and/or Paisley
My vote is for anything from London Waterloo but especially the suburban lines and branches to Chessington South, Hampton Court, Shepperton, Epsom etc.
Oh yes. Throw in the 2PEP and 4PEP (class 446 and 445 respectively) for the 1970s era. Mind you, this area has had some fantastic stock over the years.
