Xbox Series X Wcml Euston - Milton Keynes - Crashed

I thought Id try Euston to Milton Keynes with Pendalino to see if it crashes in that direction. And it does, about 4-5 miles outside Milton Keynes.

Is this going to be fixed anytime soon! Answers on a postcard!

I did 1H02 and it didn't crash, unless I just got lucky.

 

It’s now happening on the new Preston Carlisle route. Only a couple miles from Carlisle after an hour and a bit of driving the 87 from Preston and all of a sudden, I’m back at the Xbox Home Screen. This must be a general issue if the same thing is happening on more than one route.

Various reports saying the same thing at ends of line, Series S.

 

It's the memory going overbudget

 

I see. It tends to happen when the fps is low, things like snow flakes falling and trains at high speeds are occurring and then just stops and sends you to Xbox Home Screen.

 

I get it sometimes on series x also. Brighton main line.

Agreed. Either dovetail or Microsoft need to sort this out

 

Is anyone from DTG able to advise when the game will work reliably? I had considered getting a series x if that would make the game more reliable, but I gather they wouldn’t do anything!

 

I have had it crashing as I approach EUS on PS5. Maybe clear weather, and a TSR are the way to go so I drive at a lower speed lol.

 

They said in an article on dovetail live somewhere that minor performance fixes will come with the WCMLS update this week, and further performance related improvements are likely to unfortunately not be until the new year.

 

Heading into Euston on XBOX s. 400 metres from end. Crash and back to home screen. This is after the update. C'mon Dovetail, lets get this fixed.
