I like that idea. And it would be nice to get that for PS4. A good tank simulation would be nice too. DTG could show, what a real tank simulator is. They could make the difference to all that free to p(l)ay tank games.
DTG wouldn’t make a tank simulator, nor would it be free. The closest you got to an accurate tank sim was War Thunder in around 2016 before it went to p2w. DTG definitely aren’t the company to supply a free to play tank game.
Somewhat off topic, but Bus Simulator is coming to Xbox (and PS4 I assume) this month. Fingers crossed for ETS2/ATS someday. The more simulators the better, i say!
I didn't meant DTG should make a free to play tank game. My wish was a tank game like TSW. A normal Simulation game, where I have to pay the base game and than for the dlc's. On the other side you could use the tanks you paid for immediately without to pay for repair costs on your tank when he was destroyed in the session before. My intention was to show that there are no realistic tank simulations on the market at the moment. For me the free to play tank games are no tank simulations. They are egoshooter with tanks. They let tanks fight in areas no real tank commander would fight in real. Even you have a modern MBT your enemy is 300 m away from you only. Then you have to penetrate the enemy tank a lot of times to knock him out.
Watched the trailer and put it on my wishlist, but haven't bought it just yet. Any idea how big the game world is?
Standing room only and hardly moving during rush hour, drunken punch-ups on the top deck Saturday nights, extra points for cutting up cyclists. Sounds kinda niche. UK motorway sim'? Features could include contra-flows, three mile tail backs caused by people rubbernecking a car crash on the opposite carriageway, foreign truckers with no comprehension of lane discipline or blind-spots and of course Audi drivers who think it's up to everyone else to get out of their way.
They could do roads based on the UK but a custom map (like bus simulator 18) or they could do imitate real life bus routes. They could start with a London or south east England bus route.
Don't forget the council workmen sat around eating Bacon butties. This is the first I have heard about Fishing: Barents Sea. I'll keep an eye out for that one.
Let's just let them concentrate their resources on Train Sim World, I say. Dovetail is not a huge company, their resources are limited and they shouldn't be spread too thin. The more work put into TSW the better it will get.
