Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: • TSC only shots allowed. • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). • The Judge of the week's decision is final. • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 9PM GMT on Friday, December 20th 2024 and will be judged by me - maxtedrw In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 17:00 on December 22nd, 2024 a new thread will be created using the results of this weeks poll. The theme for this week is: Red & Green Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun.
Hello, I hope that I didn't make any mistakes in my submission and that I understood everything correctly, red and green are definitely visible. Greetings from Berlin
A Red and Green feast for the eyes, GWR County 3819 "County of Salop" waits patiently at Consall Station on the Churnet Valley Railway.
Apologies for going Green - Red as opposed to the theme Red/Green but if you view from left to right all is good Absolutely love the combination of a green early split code 37 with the red MK1's, what a perfect marriage of colours and traction, happy days.
Going for a moody shot of Dwight D Eisenhower coming off Ribblehead viaduct - please view from right to left...
And a few moments later at Blea Moor - with the box this one reads red-green-red (or possibly red-Brunswick-maroon if you're being picky).

Well that was an amazing set of entries - some more expected than others. And a tough choice A joint third place for cunningn#3154 and akribie. I like the way that both artists had the sam eidea of stripping back all colours other than red and green using the environment. In second place I think there is something very very red about triznya.andras Canadian Pacific's set in a deeply green environment. I can't quite explain but somehow the looming green blue mountains draw my eye more than the train itself which seems a splash of red sat in a deep green bowl. Brilliantly atmospheric. In first place is this, at first glance conventional, offering from Craigie-C. What struck me about it was the way odd red elements seem to leap out from the image. The far station sign and seat against the green dress, or the red of the nearest buffer. I don't exactly know why but it carries the red and green theme through into the environemnt which I thought was subtle. But golly gosh that was hard one to judge as all were very strong images. And I loved the Christmas Card.. Right Craigie-C, over to you for Xmas week.
Thank you for the Silver and congratulations to Craigie-C and everyone else. I also wish everyone wonderful two weeks ahead: Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year's Eve. (Going ahead of the question: Yes, it should be two weeks. What question? Yes.)
Thank you very much for third place and congratulations to the second and of course first place winners. I wish everyone a nice, contemplative time.
Many thanks for the win, much appreciated, and congratulations to all you fellow contributors for a terrific set of images. I have set the new thread with the theme "The Festive Season / Winter" well it would have been a tad rude not to methinks LOL. I have also extended the deadline till the new year to hopefully give you all a bit more time with it being the time of year that it is. Wishing everyone the best Christmas possible and a Happy & Healthy 2025 Here's to another year of brilliant Screenshotting .
