Hi, Dovetail games, please fix the BUGS FIRST and then make new dlc's. Now we have very nice new routes but the ttc br 146.2 BUG IS STILL IN THE GAME AND I REPORTET THIS A FEW MONTHS AGO! So PLEASE fix first all the reportet bugs in hotfixes, and THEn make new dlc's Because this is very anyoing I still have the same bugs ever there where already more then 6 updates. I don't want to be mean or something but I think others think the same about this. greets, Coen
Shouting isn't going to achieve anything. At the end of the day, they are a business unfortunately so they have to release dlc to make money. They can't just stop releasing dlc for the next few years. That's zero money during those years. Bugs will always exist in software. There's no such thing as perfect so fixing all bugs would be unrealistic
Wrong. Shouting is effective and necessary. If you want to turn a blind eye and take a product dull as dish water, go ahead. You'll have 3 routes that have missing OHLE, blurry textures, and poor optimization. But oh, theres a new gameplay pack! Not announcing these issues ensures the remained state of them because if no one reports it, they'll assume it's not that big a deal.
Shining a spotlight is effective and necessary. Rudeness, nonsensical hyperbole (like the post right above yours, a frequently parroted catchphrase), et al aren't. Those just hurt the poster's credibility, which hurts the cause.
They don't make money by fixing bugs, if they stop making DLC's they don't make any money, DTG go out of business, no chance of Bugs being fixed.
It's not very smart if they are making money on this way. Like I play another game, Rising world. Developer: red 51. He fixes all the bugs that are reported in the next update. He is not about the money: no 6 million dlc's, (not even one) The game cost 17 dollars if I am right. Well, by the DTG, If you report a bug, It won't be fixed. Instead the're making train sim world 6. Well I am not spending my money on that.
No, you did. You said the dev(s) of Rising World aren't in it for the money. Dovetail are. They use DLCs and yearly rereleases to bring in revenue.
If the OP just checks the dictionary and the meaning of capitalism, they will have a mind blowing awakening.......
That's great! But TSW (and train simulators in general) are not really comparable to other games in that way. People want different routes and trains in the game. There being a lot of DLC is a good thing in this type of game.
So Rising World is perfect and no bugs after 1 patch? Amazing one of these big companies should hire them.
yeah, I also think that they should fix the bugs before releasing new dlcs but forget it, that will never happen because fixing bugs doesn't make money
Every bug you report in there will be fixed in the next update or in a hotfix. The game has almost the same graphics (even higher) but I have more fps on that game than this game. And idk why but sometimes the texture is blurring out of nothing. I don't want to say that DTG is bad, But red51 is also planning trains in the sandbox survival game so... ye
"if it ain't broken, don't fix it". As far as DTG (and any company concerned with making money for that matter), are concerned, why change, when people will buy anyway?
