Dear dovtail, I would really like if the central line from the London Underground was added to Train Sim World. With that being said if you read this could you please add the central line from the London Underground. Thank you!
Well you need to formulate your request with a little more detail. The Central Line has been suggested several times in the past so a good idea might have been using the search function to find one of those threads and bump it. As a minimum you should be pasting in a Wikipedia link and making a case as to why you feel DTG should make this route - again do a forum search for LAMPOIL. Certainly when the Central Line has been suggested in the past the biggest issue representing it in recent years is the line being operated under ATO. To offer any interest at all to the majority of players it would need to be set back when the trains were manually driven, maybe even when the 1962 stock was still in use and the Epping to Ongar stretch still open.
Whilst the Central line runs on ATO, it can be manually driven also and does require Operators to drive the trains manually in open sections on weekends and in tunnel sections under specific circumstances. So, maybe we could get the line with the ‘92 stock but just drive the trains manually ourselves.
I think that that would make the route more open for all players. I would still certainly take advantage of the ATO feature as I think it is a revolutionary part of the Tube and something that I would love to be added.
Can I add that it would be nice to get the complete line from West Ruislip to Epping and not something like white city to Mile end
I totally agree. We need finished routes. I love the idea of the Mildmay line but disappointed it only goes to Willesden. I hope that if they made this route that it would not be a repeat of that
