I dont have Conductor Mode at 111 in a car. in the description when downloading
the conductor mode should be present
111 Frankfurt Fulda n wagon
Then why isn't it there?

 

I think because it was a backdated train, therefore it wouldn't make sense to do it as there really isn't anything else to do apart from checking tickets

 

So that uk wagon pack can be used on other routes and which ones?

My Raildriver doesn't work in the Christmas F125, it works in the regular ones.

 

I have recieved the WCML update for my Xbox Series S but don't seem to have the additional layers such as Flying Scotsman and the class 87 or are these AI only services?

 

Railtours and a lot of the smaller services were left out due to memory issues

 

DB BR 111 & n-Wagen Pack is wrongly aplied, it simply replace dostos. Gamepacks are to enrich the route not impoverish it. Whats worse FTF itself is winner of the "out of memmory" award right now.

Ironic.. I transfered from Gen 8 because of the memory problems

 

DTG say they will come back early in the new year, QA saw the game crash with them included so they removed them, but they have identified something causing the memory issues so once fixed all should be ok.

I do wish they would update the layer selector thing so we could sort these kinds of things out for ourselves, default them to off and let us add them back in at our own risk.

 

I have Salzburg but still I do not see any freight locomotive, only got the shunter DB BR 363. It is the case for somebody else? All layers there.

 

Great idea. Just add an orange triangular warning icon next to the layers that aren’t enabled by default and include a tooltip below the layer list:

! = This optional layer is not part of the default layer selection as determined by the development team. Enabling it could result in severe gameplay impacts, including game crashes. For a better gameplay experience with optional layers, disabling a few default layers is recommended.​

 

I don't think I would want the layers defaulted to off, because the game currently doesn't remember what you select. So, you would have to enable all the layers, every time you played. Now, if DTG could just let our selections stay until we change them, that would be something. Same with the map labels; although I can turn them off, the next time I look, they are right back. And the sort order for my routes. And so forth.

As for needing SRM to activate the freight layers for FTF, this is utterly ridiculous to the point of farcical. I mean, FTF comes with its own freight layer. So, why in the world would you need another route to activate it? And, of course, the route you need for activation is the one that comes with the 111 anyway. Plus, you have the added nonsense that DTG didn't tell anyone about this ahead of time, presumably because they didn't know. The communication between the people developing these routes and the people selling them to us is poor. It's not good when the community keeps having to discover this kind of stuff on our own. And it keeps happening.

 

It's already been discussed here, the cargo layer for the FTF is built by Vectron, and Vectron didn't exist at the time when BR111 was being built...so that's why SRM + 185.2 is used there

The whole map and vehicle system is rather unfortunate... there should be maps and there should be vehicles and it should be possible to unlock them according to some criteria... then there wouldn't be xy versions of anything

 

Although this is a logical conclusion, as far as I know it is just a theory put forth on this thread. Where did DTG themselves say that this was the case? Perhaps I missed it? In any case needing a $40 route to make a $6 gameplay pack work correctly sounds like something that should have been mentioned at some point. Not to mention that, if the Vectron was really the issue here, why couldn't DTG, you know, just include the 185 from SRM with the 111?

 

I also don't claim that DTG said that... however, it doesn't change the fact that the product behaves that way...... and I agree that it's not a happy solution..... but lately, it's generally true that it's a bit of a roulette wheel with DTG products......

I also understand the frustration, but it's somehow already common with TSW and its functioning, file not functioning, etc...

 

Wow that’s crazy, I had no idea. I haven’t used the layer selector yet - mainly because I don’t own all the routes (especially the newer ones, waiting for some more sales on PlayStation!) and thus don’t really run into performance issues. But I always thought it would obviously save any changes I make, no way I’d be willing to go through the selection process every time I boot up the game!

 

when i'm in freerome and i'm making a christmas train i see emd f125 christmas locomotvie and Christmas rotem bi level couch car metrolink but i don't see christmas rotem bi level cab car on list.

 

You wrote that the 111 Pack is supposed to have timetable modes for the main line Munich - Augsburg, main line Rhine-Ruhr, Main-Spessart Bahn, Dresden-Riesa, Rhine-Ruhr East and Köln-Aachen.

I own all of them but I can only see Dresden Riesa and Frankfurt Fulda for the 111. Can anyone imagine why?

 

I agree with the previous speakers that it cannot be that DTG has deliberately withheld the information that Salzburg-Rosenheim is needed in order to have a reasonable timetable feeling. Since this was not communicated on the sales page, I would expect the freight layer to be delivered later!

I cannot accept the Vectron argument, in which case it will have to be replaced by the BR 185 or 182, for example.
It's also a shame that the 111 can't run in combination with the Dostos, or have I missed something?

 

Sorry, I just typed out the list of everything I can see in game. As people have commented on the DLC needing Salzburg-Rosenheim for some services to appear I've just tried deleting that to see if that made a difference but they still all show for me.

I own all the German DLCs so whether there is some other dependency I don't know.

1) I was a little surprised that there is no car with a 1st class compartment in the sets.

2) As part of the BR 111 timetable, there is always a Dostos Cabcar in Frankfurt, on track 161. Probably not enough

3) And in my case, upon closer inspection, the Salzburg Rosenheim map starts the cargo layer, but also the red Vectron, so it's actually not quite as originally intended. And I met him in traffic too

 

it basically substitutes for the other german passenger loco like all the other german trains do but its not a timetable layer in itself.

 

Hi DTG Alex , I play frankfurt fluda on the series s. How comes their aren't freight with the 193 as the only traction that has been replaced is the dostos, 114 and 146. Is there any chance you and the team could reinclude it as the 111 timetable is really quiet and it nothing like the main timetable in terms of services (this is on the 111 timetable). I know the route slightly limited some trains, but the 111 timetable is far to quiet in terms of variety

 

I am assume this has not been changed or *Fixed yet* and i probably shouldn't bother repurchasing this. Even though its $5.99 it requires 2, $39.99 dlcs to play it. (base route + salzburg)

 

Once more later I have not spot a single freight train in this route when I use the BR 111 timetable, and I have Rosenheim…

Can somebody tell me if you have seen them in PS5 and in what service in particular?

On the other hand last time I played I saw a TGV at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.

Yep, that's a bug. As far as I can tell, it's only on Frankfurt-Fulda, and there only on the Bnrdzf (the n-Wagen cab car). Let's see if the upcoming patch for the route will take care of it

Can anyone tell me how many services the HKA Bogie Hopper Wagon Pack add-on adds to the timetable? Now that it's a bit discounted on PlayStation I might buy it.

 

The main article for the packs just mentions that they will add more services to timetable mode and 3 scenarios for WCML South

I just bought it today, as it was the last day on offer.
It adds 13 services to the timetable mode and 3 scenarios.
I also bought the pendolino taking advantage of today's price drop and I think it's a very well built train, it's totally worth it.

I did it in order to have all services available in WCML in the timetable mode.
