Interesting....there were quite a few people who thought an NJT route was in the works before Peninsula Corridor was confirmed. In any case, I'm eager for some upcoming DLC news/speculation....
Yeah, these are in the NEC route as well. Probably doesn't mean anything IMO, but I guess I can't complain, that is pretty baseless after all.
If and I said "if", this were to be true, what engines would probably be included? I know very little about most of the passenger engines used other than a certain few. And would frieght be included? I know some of the places where NJT operate also operate CSX and Norfolk Southern.
DTG reuses assets all the time. If you look at the highway road signs, you can see the same asset used in both NEC and Caltrain referencing New York streets. Don't think it's a conspiracy, but just laziness.
Maybe, seems lazy if so but they also chose to completely drain the water out of the Brisbane Lagoon and we’re left with a dust bowl. Looks ridiculous.
I believe the general pattern for DLC routes are released one month, next month nothing, next month news of new dlc route, then final month release. So maybe October/November for next route??
I hope to see a new loco dlc announced soon, preferably a german one like the DB BR 151 or 294 but anything is good to be honest . Cheers
Haven't seen any loco DLC at all for a while. Heck there are plenty of routes which never got any so far. GWE, TVL, MSB, ...
With a New Jersey bank advertisement in California? I'm not sure how you can back that up. Could still be American. They released two British routes in a row.
I think the cycle is going to be loco in specific country, followed by a route in the same country. For example they release the diesel locomotives for MSB, then a new German route. After that they release a Pacer for TVL (Possibly add a Journey mode as well) then a new UK route. Then the Baby Bullet for SFJ, then a new US route.
It's really not that difficult to make a new highway sign texture. But I guess you're right, more time for them to continue ignoring NEC's cab signalling issues and LIRR's service mode.
I don't think there IS a cycle, and things will be released as and when DTG want to, no matter what the order
For the first few DLC there sure was one, but of course it gets harder to stick to the more projects compete for manhours over time.
They may have started out with "three DLC for each area" but then programs (as in timetable of production, not computer programs) do go awry
I´m totally ready for a "German Diesel Pack " which will bring life to the MSB port and maybe some can be used on RSN aswell.
But... what would the DMU really he used for? There are only 3 stations on the diesel part of MSB, not really long enough for a DMU DLC...
Well DTG did build the US-shunter that is only in the Sunnyside yard on NEC. So why not a DMU for 3 stations.
Because it's solely meant for shunting operations. There's a difference between a shunter and road engine.
Well since we're into the last four months of the year I wonder if we might hear something about the E word? Perhaps another stream in November/December with tempting words about the new year just like last year?
Id like to see a reworking of routes in TSW from TS. Because comparison on performance is unbeaten, i played TS2019 the other day and it is good just feels empty and flat now
Its time for a leak on the next dlc route. Come on Dovetail emplyees. Someone surely can risk their job to share this with us.
Why would you want someone to risk their job?! That is bizarre for something so unimportant in the scheme of things!
I agree with theoranist I cannot see anyone at DTG willing to risk their great job for something so small and insufficient.
A LIRR DLC without a route extension would be a poor decision. We need at least another branch line if they were going to do that.
Seen how often DTG has lengthened an existing route or adding a branch, I wonder if that is even possible from a technical standpoint by now...
