It's definitely one of the most comprehensive routes traffic wise and is immersive. I love the combination of high speed then the what seems like a slow crawl through the Medway towns. From concrete tunnels to Victorian brick.

It's one of the best routes really as it's received a lot of attention.

and plus because the main point of the route was the class 395. Its much understandable that we mainly have section that class 395 can fully run on. Heck at least Ashford is a big-ish station that services call at if you want to purely drive HS1. Class 465 and class 375 are more or so side characters that helps give some more variety when on slow lines.

I also see that there are people here who would like a route where we can run class 465s, which that would also be great. London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks or Tunbridge Wells maybe if you want a Class 465 focus route. Or maybe not if developers deemed it too long...

Maybe that's what the route hopping facility is ultimately intended for? You would not have to merge the routes, simply allow players to hop to the next section of a multi- section route to continue an extended journey. If there was a way to copy over the existing consist to the next leg, all the better. It may preclude non-stop runs but at least you'd be able to traverse more than the odd 30-40 miles that's the usual miserly DTG offering.

Dtg doesn't only work on tsw. They have other projects. Then you have all the non game developers who work in corporate or the community. Then you have to break it down even further into separate teams so multiple projects can be worked on at one time. Then separate roles. Not every artist does the same thing. Some may focus just on the environment. Some focus on 2d art. Some focus on only trains. That only leaves a couple developers for each role. More devs doesn't necessarily mean faster content or the job gets any easier especially if they have conflicting interests and goals too

And honest question, If sim rail can do it why cant TSW.

And hell if scenery is anything to go by due to the cut route, not a lot of routes are good in that department. I have watched many reviews of a specific youtuber pointing out many flat grass textures beside the tracks you would've been driving on in routes that I can't remember. But the amount is quite hefty. If developers cut corners on that department, giving only 1 new train in every route where applicable (cuz even recently now there dont event get new stock for some routes in and outside of the UK range) and cutting routes at such unreasonable locations. Are those routes really worth over 30-40 pounds?

Heck they could've went back and improve, and extend older routes so peope who havent got those older routes would consider getting them. Hell I haven't even purchase the modern Island Line by rivet (probs one of the better routes by rivet) yet but since its now going to be used in GWE remaster, i am considering get it once GWE is near completion.

No idea what system you use, but the Island Line is currently £5.99 in Steam's Winter Sale.

That isn't how it works. While permission needs to be granted, you are assuming DTG have tried to start developing a Class 91. There is nothing to back that up.
Only the 16:50 departure on that board actually terminates at Faversham. The other two continue to Ramsgate - notice how the times shift one column to the left on the first two departures shown in the photograph.

Few high speed services terminate at Faversham.

The majority go to Ramsgate or Dover Priory.
