What's the thoughts on everybody in here.

When I first got into the game I really didn't enjoy doing any night services as found some of the routes were just dull. However, as time has gone on (perhaps influenced by driving up the Preston - Carlisle route in the scenario "Tap Changer") my perception has completely changed and would say I actually enjoy the night journeys more than I do the day !

Mind you, maybe that's the Fifer in me who's disappointed in the scenery on Fife Circle route which you don't really notice at night :P

So what say, are you a day or nighter?

Prefer day but if I’m driving at night I like to do it either in full fog or stormy conditions as I think it’s quite atmospheric

I quite like either but sometimes the lighting colours at night appeal to my senses. I only play dark services if I'm in a dark room so that my eyes are accustomed to the low lighting level. It also feels important that the routes feature the reverb sound effects which has only been since TSW4; as these help you to hear where you are on the route. Joint sounds and cab sway are helpful too for knowing where I am on a route.

In short I don't like night driving when initially learning a route, but once I have more established route knowledge I like driving at night.

My answer may surprise someone, but it all depends on the mood)))
