Tees Valley/ Sand Patch Grade Question

I tried to post this in the feedback thread, but there was no place to put Tees Valley feedback. So I’m putting it in here.

I originally purchased Tees Valley back in the TSW2/TSW3 days. I noticed now that I’m being asked to buy it again. What’s the difference between the new version and the old version? Tx.

update: I also noticed I’m being asked to buy Sand Patch Grade again. That’s another one I bought a long time ago.

There is no new version, they never reworked the Tees Valley line.
You should be able to use it without buying it again. If not, sumbit a support ticket.

 

I did buy LIRR again because of the massive update. Was that a mistake?

 

If you bought the same version again, yes. From this route, there is indeed a new version named LIRR Commuter.

 

They should do, its a good route.

 

That’s what I bought yesterday. Glad it wasn’t a mistake. Wish the product description was a little clearer, though. Then the question wouldn't even have been necessary. I did do a search and see that LIRR Commuter is a new product. So that's a good thing.

To make things clearer, DTG should withdraw the old LIRR from sale, or at least withdraw the TSW5 version of it. This is not a case like Isle of Wight where there are two distinct routes in the same location; this is the same route upgraded and expanded like SEHS.

 

Probaly not. There is a LIRR2, which has a fully revamped timetable and an additional branch. It is sold as a different route. It depends on how much you like LIRR if it is a mistake to buy. Normally, you buy a DLC one. For a new TSW version you get a free compatible copy for that version if you own the original.

Problem is layering, as NYT still uses the old LIRR stock, so DTG would need to update NYT to use LIRR 2.0 stock before doing that.

 

Update: I got a response from DTG from my ticket which I will answer today. I was able to add both Tees Valley and Sand Patch Grade to my library after doing searches on PlayStation. Not the DB G6 Diesel Shunter, however, even after renewing the license.. I have the receipt and I'll send it on to DTG.
