Hi All, I just wanted to confirm with others that they continue to experience issues with passengers - particularly on inter-city routes. For example with WCML South, the 390 timetable either starts with a train full of passengers that all disembark or coaches all empty with nobody getting on. Surely it can't be that hard to fix these issues which have such a significant impact on realism and immersion within the game. I know the issues also persist with a lot of the ICE trains across various German routes. Are DTG ever going to fix this issue? What's the point of doing any long distance routes if this glaring issue never gets resolved? Thanks for your time.
The coaches are still full of passengers in the depots. I remember at the launch of rush hour they said they had fixed it...
Yeah. Yesterday I played MBTA route. Service from Framingham to Boston. After starting on a track outside the station I brought the train to the platform. Opened the doors. And... IT BEGINS! Billions of souls flowed out of the coaches. They pushed each other, got stuck, moonwalked, spun, falling out on a tracks. That's supposed to be an empty train. Everyone who was waiting to embark was simply washed away by this stream beyond the station limits.
I think what needs tweaking for passenger's in my eyes is when a scenario or timetable service requests you to take the train to the depot out of service. In which the train SHOULD be empty. Even when starting a scenario or timetable service from the depot of the route you choose. There's passengers sitting in the stabled trains. Minding their own business.
Every single Flixtrain run from the Frankfurt-Fulda timetable was basicly an empty stock move. I stayed in cab view to not break curfew ;-)
One route where I think depot moves do show empty passengers is Brighton main line , I believe . Shows it is possible for them to sort it out .
They just may be waiting on the modding community to fix it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That just may be a glitch in the matrix, or it's a hit-or-miss, I have seen that in several routes and services.
Blackpool Branches can be quite bad for it too. Leaving Ormskirk with a full train, and literally nobody on it by the time it approaches Preston, and then often sits empty all the way to Blackpool South. Not only that but the number of identical passengers sitting next to each other is pretty silly too.
Omg, I've just posted in another thread about the lack of bug fixes, and here's more. Dovetail, do you realise the amount of threads in this forum that are complaining about long standing bugs that just seem to get ignored?
