I'm really interested tbh, I'll probably be picking this one. Do you know if it's compatible with the G29?
It’s good, been playing online this afternoon which is crazy! 3rd is my best finish though it seems a lot of players have already ranked up their cars so it’s hard to compete at first
I don’t know to be honest but I think the game builds are the same so that would be a great addition I played so much the last couple of days I hardly touched TSW
I got the platinum trophy today, so didn't take long. Will be solidly playing multiplayer from now on so if anyone is on for PS4 let me know
It's a fun game, vehicular carnage, but there are a number of issues that hold it back. The rubber banding is some of the worst I have seen. And not just the rubber banding, but the ai seems to have a hive mind. You break for a corner, and the ai will throw 22 cars up your ****, just to let one sail by like a Sunday afternoon drive. Then there is driving a 64' Ford Mustang and having to really work to chase down a Volvo 740 Estate. The Sweedish are known for making safe cars, but Bugatti they are not. Does it want to be simulation or arcade? It feels like they tried to smash the two together. I also notice a fair amount of clipping issues when trying to ram the lawn mowers while in the bus. They would frequently clip inside the bus, and stay in there. It's basically like a cheeseburger. For a quick burst, it's fine.
Wreckfest. It does look like one I'd be interested in. Perhaps when it comes on offer in a sale. How's the FFB though a wheel? Although the new Grid game is also out soon! So many games so little money! Oh I don't know... Spoiler: BTCC Volvo
Oh god. lol Is that like when Ford bolted a jet engine onto the side of the Transit, and created the Supervan? Ha ha.
Back in the early 90s they raced a couple of them in the British touring car series. They weren't that successful at the time but were good for publicity. Volvo continued however and won the championship once. Here you go. So maybe Wreckfest isn't too far out.
The in the photo is one of the new 800 series, while the one in the game, looks to me like the older 700 series. I'm in modified Mustang, and I am working hard to keep up with a Sweedish Tank? In the words of Dolemite: "LOVE, are you for real?" Oh, I see, I can't post that word. Ok, then from the man himself:
At the time in BTCC, you weren't allowed much in the way of aero, and spoilers were very limited in height. Volvo actually found that they got slightly better aero with the higher back of the estate than a lower boot with a small spoiler. The performance advantage was possibly outweighed by the higher centre of gravity, but the marketing advantage was clear!
