1. Game optimizations 2. New reverb effect (i mean, efx exists but we clearly need a whole reverb so it can make the game more realistic 3. Routes that should be connected to each country for example germany to france 4. More realistic ambient sounds? 5. Enhanced train sounds? I guess that is what we possibly want in the next update
1. Were done as far as it is possible without breaking compatibility with existing content. 2. Reverb is reverb. It's in the game and customisable per individual track sound blueprint / mod. AP Track EP addresses this. http://tscdevdocs.co.uk/reference-manual/audio.html#TOC-Reverb 3. Route mergers do exist and are possible if two routes share the same origin. Can be a lot of work, but check freeware mergers and workshop. 4. No way. We love trains and do not want to crash them. 5. Armstrong Powerhouse. There is no next update. If you're hungry for updates, TSW is your game.
Play AP's MML St Pancras - Bedford which has the most realistic ambient sounds in any train sim. Ambience from 59 different locations along the route recorded by sound wizard Richard Armstrong. All this is not the "game" but the content made for it. You'll be amazed how much visual and aural detail there is to be found in freeware routes.
One thing I would love to see is smoke from steam locos able to "collide" with bridges and tunnels like in real life. Also, see if some sounds from 3rd party modders can be implemented as standard in the game. Allow the AP sky/Weather, track, Cloud, Signal and vegetation packs to be implemented as standard. updated EU and US assets
DTG has been so focused on TSW that they have seemed to stop all communication on the future of TSC. They are no longer doing any in-house development for TSC content, it is all 3rd party and absolutely no news on the current state of the platform. Some developers are pulling back while a few of the most noted still produce content. Do you think that we are owed some sort of explanation on the future of TSC? Your Thoughts?
I have a feeling some update is bound to drop this year for TSC,but if anything, most likely will be the last unless something changes between DTG/Focus
