No. But this article may help: https://profile.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/articles/article/train-sim-world-4-game-update-august-13#:~:text=With this update, the suspension, they ride over junction joints In addition you can add the Pacer, BR 218, and everything from TSW5, except I think the 72 stock. Edited to add that I just realized the Pacer is mentioned in the article but not on the article's list.
Thanks! I already came across that article but figured it wouldn't be up-to-date as there have been numerous releases since then. It would be helpful if they would publish a list though. Something like the add-on compatibility table: https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com...74-train-sim-world-add-on-compatibility-guide
Theoretically speaking, anything released after TSW4 should have suspension equipped. In reality, now that DTG have slapped a "Train Sim World 5" tag on all available DLC, new players won't have a clue which routes are new and which are years old.... and I think that was done intentionally.
There’s another way to know if a DLC was released before or after TSW5. There’s a specific tag on all DLCs released prior to TSW5, except for the Fife Circle route, maybe because of the recent branch added.
Not really. - SEHS is still £29.99 and a TSW2 route. - GWE is £24.99 and that's a TSW2020 route. - Rapid Transit is also a £24.99 TSW2020 route. That's just 3 routes off the top of my head. They've even unified those stickers now, to not show a number. They used to say TSW2020, TSW2, or TSW3 compatible... now it's just TSW compatible, so you can't tell what year the route actually released without trawling each store page.
Some post-TSW3 routes are also costing (in euros) €29.99 or less, like Maintalbahn, Suffragette line, or Glossop line
SEHS got an extension and a remaster and the 465 included with it when TSW3 was launched. It is quite different to it's TSW2 days.
Well, if we're going to split hairs.... You still think a TSW3 route is worth £24.99, when TSW5 routes are £29.99?
I would be willing to pay £30 for it more-so than some other routes. I was just pointing out that it isn't in its TSW2 state. I probably has more mileage and content than some other newer routes for the same price.
SEHS is actually still good value for money. It may be a TSW3 route, yes, but it has a lot of value in it still.
GWE and a few other routes are certainly looking their age. But I would argue SEHS and GWE are worth the money... SEHS still stands up as a really well made route, with a really good time table and really well made rolling stock, and a fantastic amount of layers. It's only really missing suspension improvements, but I can live without that for now. GWE will be receiving a free remaster and brought upto to TSW5 standards very shortly along with full suspension improvements to the HST and 166... So again, probably worth the money.
I actually think SEHS is worth that, and officially that’s a TSW2 route, but extended. I only buy routes on sale though, because there’s almost always a sale on and it just saves tons of money, and it’s a good way to try routes I otherwise probably wouldn’t buy.
