PS5 Island Line 2022 Signal Issue

I just purchased the Island Line 2022 add on and I’m trying to complete the first service on the timetable which involves bringing my train out of the Depot and into service. When I leave the yard there is a red “signal” that’s just a sign on a post. It says, “Stop, telephone signaller”. I tried to do the action that does that and it says “proceed at restricted speed”. If I go past that sign it automatically fails the service. Not sure how to complete this service if I’m unable to go past this red “Signal” that can’t change since it’s a sign.

 

If I recall correctly, you must set the switches manually to the correct path. Then it should work.

 

I have had this problem before, its really annoying

 

FWIW: I've replayed this and without any trouble, both from timetable and the respective scenario. (TSW5/PS5)

In the scenario you have to couple to the second unit before you leave for service. That involves definitely correct switch alignment.
