You should add NEW COUNTRYS like one of the baltics Vilnius to kaunas or polan Finland even Romania pls not the German American and British routes please something different
Agreed, I'd love a change of scenery. Don't really care which country, preferably something really different.
Russia, China, Mexico, and Australia could be awesome. Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium, and other European countries are a must. Railway lines in Central or South America could be cool to see. We also need more Canadian routes and locomotives.
Definitely agree would love to have an Australian route, though I am glad that we are getting a Japanese route soon. Would also like to see some trains from the ex-soviet countries, Spain, Italy, New Zealand and Asia
How about Southern America? Should be some interesting railways there. I'd also like to see India. Definately a different experience from the western stuff we see so far.
Russia: Love to have it, as it'd feel a bit nostalgic of when I used the RZD trains daily. There's quite a few beautiful trains as well, a new safety system to learn and a whole different railway gauge aka the broad gauge. India: India while being complicated, has a lot of variety in rolling stock to choose from. It's a whole different environment to work with. While I don't know much about it, I think India has one of the most powerful locomotives in the world. Anywhere in Scandinavia: Anywhere out here in the beautiful north would be lovely, especially if they modeled northern lights into the game. Better snow physics would go a long way too.. maybe even a snow plow scenario would be quite fun. Oh yeah, since I currently reside in norway I'd probably buy it in a heartbeat. Italy: Feel like it's a given considering how GORGEOUS much of Italy is.. especially around the Mediterranean coast. There's also suggestions posted of Italian routes so there's at least some demand for it already.
idk if they'll be able to do Russia as the war that's happening with Ukraine so that'll probably be a pass? maybe. but it might happen one day.
U want to see more loactionsclike including Australian and new Zealand or Japan or maybe India routes on the next tsw game
You gotta elaborate more; routes, rolling stock, background, landmarks, stations, any other miscellaneous info about signalling perhaps, a why beyond 'it'll be cool'. Flesh it out.
DTG have stated in another thread that none of the Australian companies or infrastructure operators are interested in cooperating or licensing depiction of their routes in the game.
Even better the entire 110 miles Barcelona to Perpignan Languedoc Roussillon leading to its abbreviation LGV CLR C Catalonia LR is Languedoc Roussillon. Just like how HRR if route hopping enabled becomes the HDBU
You’re joking right!! Australia has lost there god damn mind. Are we allowed to use Australians trains on a different countries route if there made in Japan or do ya still need approval from Australia
Licensing doesn't dictate where trains can be used in TSW, it only dictates whether access is given to the train and company branding. But as stated above, Australian train companies don't want to give a license (this is not specific to Australia, other countries (and some companies within those countries) have also denied a license).
Licensing, or at least permissions, also extend to representation of operating systems - whether signalling or on train controls - in a simulation. This is where things appear to have become unstuck with SNCF, SBB and why the revamped LIRR lost some cab functionality (though ironically required players to use the safety systems). So if the Australian train and infrastructure companies have slammed the door on the grounds they don't want people playing a game to effectively have access to a trainer for the real thing there's not much DTG can do about it. Trainz Aussie stuff doesn't count as they are about as realistic as using Mario Kart as a car driving trainer.
Every post about people wanting new countries...do you people think DTG is somehow oblivious to it? Of course they know people want more countries, but it will always come down to legal restrictions and licensing, not to mention the massive manpower and economical overhead required to set up development for a new country's rail infrastructure, and whether they can make a profit from that new route. It's not as simple as "I want X country to be in TSW".
Yesss russia Im lithuanian so I would like Russia becouse it uses the same systems KLUB-U and ALS or just do Lithuanian that would be REAAALLY helpful to fulfil my DREAM, I want to become a train driver in Lithuania and it would help me achieve this goal because you need to memorise the speed limits and the things and when I go to learn how to drive i would already have a jump start
