Route München - Nürnberg With Škoda Train

I just wrote about this route on another post and the München-Nürnberg Express which is driven by a Škoda Wendezug:

I never saw this train before I was at Munich Hauptbahnhof some time ago.
It would be a very cool route, because it is also used by the ICE and the BR101. The route is nearly as long as Würzburg-Kassel.

beautiful train, but unfortunately it is upon the road to being retired due to reliability issues... so I would maybe rather see Franken Thuringen Express and appropriate route than maybe this, as much as I love the looks and the idea of blasting in a dosto cab car with LZB

 

I believe they now use more combinations of Vectron + IC + cab car than this

 

actually in december of 2024 they brought back the br101 with the red ic1 coaches and cab car for the munchen nurmberg express

 

101 is still a magnificent machine, so why not

 

yup and those coaches where still in storange so lucky DB there

 

If made expect for the DB BR102 Skoda Dosto to run like a 146.2 785/780 Doppelstockwagen
