Hello, has anyone had the same problem as me with this company. I have sent now three of their internal contact us message re a new purchase of the Bulleid Pacific large collection. First message sent 1.1.25 just after purchasing the pack. They are just ignoring me. It was a simple request, how do you specify a particular Bulleid loco for your trip ? It seems to generate a different loco each time its run. And while I am amounst you experts, how do you select the roof boards to add to your coaches as well ? thanks Jim
I'm still waiting for a reply after contacting them nearly a year ago. What you are after should be in the manual. Your drive/Steamapps/common/railworks/manuals/En.
That is normal for TSC if you are doing a Quick Drive or a Free Roam If you don't like the loco push Esc - go in to World Editor then Scenario Editor - double click on the loco then change it's number If the loco is in a proper scenario it will show the number that is chosen when the scenario is made.
Me too, although only waiting since 6th September last year. I don't see a "Bulleid Pacific Large collection" on their web site but if you are referring to the Merchant Navy class you should look at page 12 of the manual, as Trev says. John
Ah, right, thanks. The web site shows a manual, which is for only one of the four included locomotives, but the loco numbering is page 12 there too. Whether that is really the manual that comes with the set is anybody's guess if they (like me) don't own it. John
Are you using the same as me as I cannot get to where you say. I am using Train Sim Classic 2024. I get to World Editor then a blank screen with three plug out menus. I cannot see anything in them about loco numbers ? Also the link that was mentioned by others re the manual,There is no information on Page 12 about number changing. Sorry new to all this and its not making any sense at the moment. Also how to change carriage names and roofboards in Matrix trains Pullmans ?
Double-click on the locomotive in the Scenario editor, not the World Editor, to reveal the locomotive number for editing. Now you have finally told us what carriages you are taking about, somebody who has these may be able to help you further. I don't. But the method is likely to be much the same. Double-click on each carriage in the Scenario Editor, and change its number code. It is the same process for nearly every locomotive, carriage and wagon in the game. I would be surprised if all that you ask about isn't explained in the manual(s), you really need to spend the time reading these thoroughly. John
Hi John thanks for your help, but I cannot seem to find any documentation about TSClassic 2024, which will even tell me how to enter the scenario editor. I must have missed it somehow, can you point me in the right direction. It appears to me that most people are using an older version of TSClassic and I am getting the impression that the GUI has changed in the 2024 edition ? once again thanks for your assistance. James
The TSC 2024 manual is here: User Guide. The scenario editor can be accessed through the scenario tab in the build screen - page 14.
Everyone is using TSC 2024 as the game got updated most years for free. It is easier for DTG Support if everyone is on the same version of the game Changing numbers - I don't have the Bossman Bullied but the principle is the same Start a scenario that has the Bossman Bullied When it loads push the ESC key on your keyboard then select Scenario Editor Then click on the Orange Train in the Top left - see picture below As it reloads in the Scenario Editor Double click on the Loco you need to change the number on. The Pop-out box on the right appears In the box next to the blue/white thing is the number - in this case it shows 7311020 For this loco the 73110 is the number you see and the 20 is the route displayed in the front window With the Bullied is should have something like 34xxx or 35xxx - change the number to something else CHECK if there are extra numbers or letters When it is changed push the Orange Play Button in the bottom right and it will save and load This is the manual for Clan Line https://store.steampowered.com/manual/1364032 CHECK page 14 Peter
Peter, many thanks for your reply, will settle down tomorrow sometime and give your instructions a go, off out for a curry right now. Thanks again James
