Route: S8/S9- Wiesbaden - Hanau Stops Wiesbaden Hbf Wiesbaden Ost MZ-Kastel (S9) Mainz Nord (S8) Mainz Hbf (S8) MZ-Römisches Theater (S8) Gustavsburg (S8) Bischofsheim Rüsselheim Opelwerk Rüsselheim Raunheim Kelsterbach Flughafen Gateway Gardens Stadion Niederrad Frankfurt Hbf Taunuslage Hauptwache Konstablerwache Ostendstrasse Mühlberg OF-Kaiserlei Ledermuseum Marktplatz Offenbach Ost Mühlheim Dietesheim Stienheim Hanau Hbf Rollingstock: DB BR 420 DB BR 430 Run through the busy core of Frankfurt am Main through industrial Offenbach, the financial centre of Frankfurt out to the picturesque Rhine. This route has regular stops an underground section the airport and wonderful countryside, with good contrast with the quiet outskirts and bustling core. 2013 would be the ideal date for variety with both the BR 420 and BR 430 in service along with Layers from a variety of other routes namely FTF providing AI services to bring the route alive, along with the 423 to run through the core with the other S-Bahn services from Offenbach Ost - Frankfurt Hbf. This route is ideal for fans of commuter services with regular stops and plenty to see. Edit: RMV would be a Required licence for both 420 and 430 Regional and high-speed services run along side the route for quite a stretch of the way, possibly player regio trains Hanau - Frankfurt Airport? For Regio to the airport the 1440 in HLB/RMV colours would be required but is not totally essential for the enjoyment of the route as rollingstock from FTF would suffice
Looks like you're finishing the missing section of the S8/S9 lines Frankfurt Am Main Hbf to Offenbach Ost which isn't built on Frankfurt to Fulda route
That is precisely what's happening yes, though would need to be a separate route due to the length the route would be meaning loads of lag if it was stitched onto FTF
and with Hanau - Frankfurt flughafen - Mainz/Wiesbaden there's a couple nice route hop points plus a few IC(E) and regional traffic to drive over both the Flughafen Fernbahnhof line and the Mainbahn where the S bahn gets off and rejoins after going by Gateway gardens. Mainz itself and the Opel werk could lend itself to some nice freight too
I don't know much about the freight operations but yeah that sounds great, certainly a route that can have everything you could want in a route, with LZB and PZB operations FTF esque
