I would love to see a route that goes eastbound out of heidelberg that goes through the Odenwald mountain range. it would be fun for it to run either to mosbach (baden) or osterburken. its mainly BR425.2 trains that they use, I think they are either regular BR425 regional trains with sbahn branding or redesigned versions, but im not completely sure. Sbahn Rhein Neckar is also receiving Siemens Mireo trains which would be a fun addition to the game. long story short its a very picturesque route that would be a nice ad
what do you mean? I gave some info about the trains and a little bit about the route. although I can give a more detailed description of the route. you would exit heidelberg hbf eastbound and branch off towards the east from the other line that goes south to stuttgart, the train would then stop at heidelberg westadt sudstadt and then go through a tunnel under the konigtstuhl mountain and making a stop at heidelberg alstadt afterwards. the route essentially follows the the neckar river until neckargemund. at neckargemund a route branches to the south towards sinsheim and heilbronn. but this route would cross the neckar river and travel along the north bank of the river until it reaches mosbach where it leaves the neckar river. an option would be that the route would terminate here with a normal journey taking like 1 hour. another option is for the route to continue to osterburken which would make total time to travel the route end to around 1.5 hours. I don't know if there are any freight operations. I haven't taken the full route myself so if you know more that I don't or if I made some mistakes please feel free to correct me.
