I'm in two minds do I really want part with 29.99 for another German route with no new stock but the route its self looks pretty good so I dont know.
Looking forward to buying it, but not tomorrow. As with everything I'll hold off untill it's discounted in a sale. I refuse to pay full price as long as DTG doesn't fix bugs in old routes.
No. All the initial reports are that it's not well built, saw comments earlier about poorly put together OLE, on top of issues already gleaned from the stream. That aside, it's not a route that ticks any boxes for me, we have plenty of similar German content already. And £30 for a 70km route, built to mediocre standard and no new rolling stock smacks of cash grab to me. I am also not inclined to fund DTG's coffers any further until someone gets off their posterior and breaks the wall of silence around the worsening state of the TSW5 core.
For me it depends on the first reports of performance on Gen 9 console. If this route suffers from the blurred textures then I will not part with my money. - But, I do find the route an interesting one and will buy it if there are no bugs and or other TSW5 typical problems

Thats what im doing as well.. Im not buying routes blind anymore for Xbox Series X untill i saw some dedicated console stream. Vorarlberg is still a catastrophy and the worst route ever due the cut out distance scenery. Frankfurt - Fulda is a blurry texture nightmare. I just let others doing beta test on gen 9 consoles.
I wasn't sure if I want to buy it for the full price om release day. I thought that it would be a good idea to take a look at some youtube streams. Then something different showed up in recommended videos, a metro sim game in early access, so I ended up buying this one instead :P
Maybe a pretty stupid question, but the rolling stock that can run here must already be owned from other DLCs. So is this route only interesting for those who already have these vehicles but few other routes, so that this purchase makes any sense at all? An empty box, otherwise? I don't expect that there has to be completely new rolling stock for every new route. There could also be other features, such as scenarios that are only possible here or generally something other than a trip from a to c via b. Or that you can get the appropriate locomotive DLC for less. So any added value other than an empty route at full price! I don't agree with that. I will certainly buy the route, but only when it's on sale. Because I have all the other German routes and could drive them very well, but not at full price.
Not necessarily. It's still a new route after all, which I personally so far like. The price is questionable though, could have easily been 29,99€ and still make them enough money, probably.
I'm always in favor of new routes, even for existing rolling stock and without other features, but then not at full price. For me, this is a test balloon to see how far you can go without offering more. I would have bought it straight away for €25, but not for €37. Money is the same for DTG as it is for me. Routes only, yes, but not at full price.
I'll wait until this is half price. Normally routes come with the route and a new loco/MU. If they're only providing half the content, I'm only willing to pay half the price
If it had layers for the expert BR101 I probably would as I'm always happy to have somewhere else to run that trainset. But since it doesn't...I don't see enough to entice me without a large discount.
That's not correct, you will still get the rolling stock that's listed on the product page: BR 111 which despite being heavily featured in all materials is only available for two services BR 185 with the usual wide selection of bugs and broken features as this is already its 15th copied version BR 406 in configuration that's not correct for this route BR 425 in configuration that's not correct for this route
So i was gifted this route by a friend and glad I did not pay for it. It's an ok route but its not a fast route witch I dont mind you can't get all the route tasks because some are un reachable I think DTG are aware of this it feels unfinished and rushed good thing no crashing and could see any blurriness when I played but £30 still seems steep for this route considering you can frankfurt to fulda same price and its 25 miles longer.
