When you get the route will you then spend a lot of time complaining about it because it is almost 8 years old and does not work as good as more recently made routes.

So if you were to get a Railworks 3/TS2012 make sure it is New as the Steam Code inside will not work more than once.

I found this workshop for Cajon Pass today so you can always find dlc/workshops for Cajon Pass.

Heavy Haulers of the Cajon Pass.

It is with the UP U50 loco.

And I do not mind if the route is old as long as you can play on it.

VPN is really the only way, otherwise your PC knows you’re in Europe so you can’t buy it

How does that work - you have to purchase it thru Steam with your account but somehow you tell steam you have moved countries but not your billing address?
Is that fudging the system which Steam might not like?
Much easier to get an unused copy of TS2012, which the route came with

You could get a disc copy instead but what will happen is you will use your VPN to say you’re in the US, then you can buy products only in the US. The billing address has nothing to do with finding your location, otherwise you’d have to insert your address into lots of websites to find out where you are which you don’t

So where in the US would you buy the Cajon Pass - it's not available on Steam AFAIK

There's a link somewhere. I think it was a requirements to a freeware route and when you clicked it you went to steam but said "this product is not available in your country"

But there are only 2 career scenario pack if you buy the 2012 Trainsimulator.
    Ordered it from Amazon USA.
Wish there were more career scenario packs.
And also wish Marias Pass and Stevens pass were available in Europe.

Career wasn't a big thing until later editions, then again points don't actually get you anything anyway, so unless you just NEED a gold star...

It is not about a goldstar.
It is about to make it as real as possible.
But to play standard you can fail as much as you want and drive it as fast as you can without getting any penalties.
But with career you get penalty if you drive too fast, come late to the stations or other things.
I want it to be challenging.

That is why I only play career because I want it to be as real as possible as I work as a traindriver in real life.

Depends on who made the scenario. I play scenarios where the timing is so slack you can be waiting for five minutes for departure even if you don't go over the limit and other runs where the timing is so tight you need to be at full throttle from 0MPH and full brake application at the next station to even get within the 30 second limit
This is why many people turn the points OFF, because they don't want to drive as if their hair's on fire

A lot of the timings for Passenger trains are unrealistic in Career Scenarios.
Just because DTG call it a Career Scenario does not make it realistic

Was there a hint to that happening or are you just asking if DTG plans on making it?

Against Steam rules. If you get cought your account will be locked.
They also look at your banking information used to purchase the content.
