Hello, I'm hoping someone can lay out the steps on how to successfully operate the BR101 expert over the neutral section shortly after leaving Salzburg without shutting power down on the locomotive and, if I do trip the breaker, how to successfully get everything working again so I can carry on with my trip.

I've tried pulling the throttle to off before going over the neutral area, I've tried opening the circuit breaker, but it still seems to trip (maybe I'm not doing this soon enough?) After tripping the breaker I can't seem to figure out the right steps to get power re-established to the train.

I'm hoping someone can explain it to me step by step like a moron because right now I feel like one! I did try to find the answer in the manual but couldn't find a specific explanation for this.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    1. Ensure throttle is at zero
    2. Turn off main switch when the sign orders so or slightly ahead
    3. Watch for the voltage to drop and appear again
    4. Turn on main switch after all active pantographs passed the end of neutral section sign
    5. Wait for all systems audibly turn on again with all the usual buzz
    6. Turn on train power line
    7. Apply throttle as needed
There shouldn't be any complicated catch. That the voltage disappears for a moment is correct, that's what the neutral section is there for.

Ahh ok thanks, I wasn’t turning off the main switch, that’s my miss. I’ll give it another shot.

Actually, main switch is main circuit breaker?

Ok thanks, that’s what I was doing, maybe I just wasn’t quick enough.
