actually that would be a good idea if ATS could consider doing it and plus removing the class 390s on that route because the class 390s dont run on the manchester airport branch so they should just replace it with another train
390s operate on the line from Piccadilly through to Crewe via Alderley Edge though. They still form part of the route, even if they don't go on a specific part of it.
The 390 will only run on the mainline via Stockport. The route will feature this mainline as well as the branch line to the airport
