OK, picture this Being able to save your own PERSONAL DECALS!!! This us a long award feature that needs to be added to TSW Livery designer. To be able to group decals together is great, but what be fantastic is to be able to save them to use on other trains. For example, a complex logo that took you ages could be simply saved and you wouldn't have to redo it everytime a new train was designed. Another thing that would be great is to copy liveries from 1 train to another but that's another step ahead. Anyone agree???
Absolutely right, this feature is long overdue. German trains in particular are overgrown with markings, and if you have to do them again every time because a passenger train consists of different individual carriages, it costs unnecessary time and nerves. I can also imagine transferring put-together and grouped images from train to train. Then you could mix existing motifs that have already been created to create a colorful best of livery. Transferring "Mona Lisa" from the TGV to an ICE would be awesome! One solution would be to save the grouped markings or images as a single (JPG) file, i.e. you make a single compressed layer out of several layers. That would be the most effective way to do it.
I 100% agree with this. Sometimes the decals you have to make for a train can be very complex as well. Most times it’s decals that can be really common on trains. Having to remake them everytime is kind of a waste of time. Would be nice if saved decals can be saved and used on any train you wish.
