I saw fantastic video in YT: Along Puget Sound [BNSF's Scenic and Bellingham Subdivisions] This is fantastic, scenic, never appear before, BNSF route on the shore of the Pacific Ocean - around 90 miles only! Thx that, DTG can have very good efficency of graphic and processor work, cause almost evrywhere on the one side is only ocean. Intead of this you can see fantastic ports, ferries, fantastic bridges and even one swing bridge, also which wasn't appear in DTG routes before. Instead of BNSF freight trains you can see existing in game Hyundai Rotem Commuter and diesel locos MPI MP36 in trains SOUNDER between Seattle and Everett. Only one new train could be Talgo trains and some Amtrak trains. Seattle - Bellinghamm Along Puget Sound by Marek Zieba, on Flickr You can see a lot fantastic photos from this route on Railpictures.net gallery: https://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php
I've suggested this route before. Personally, I think that if we get a Pacific NW route, it would be the Amtrak Cascades or Seattle Sounder. I would love the Sounder route, since it includes part of the Cascades line and of course, BNSF. The route is 81.8 miles long, which is doable in TSW. As for locomotives, I would want to see the following: -Sounder MP40PH-3C w/ Hyundai-Rotem Commuter Coaches/Cab Car -Cascades SC44 Charger and Talgo 8 and/or Horizon Coaches/Cab Cars (or maybe Siemens Venture Cars, when they begin operating in 2026). -BNSF SD75M/SD75I (commonly seen pulling heavy manifests and trash trains out of Seattle) -BNSF C44-9W (for heavy freights) -BNSF ET44C4 (for heavy freights) -BNSF GP60/M/B (for yard and local duties) -BNSF GP50 (ex-BN and ex-ATSF; also for yard/local duties) -BNSF GP39-3 (rebuilt ex-BN GP30s/GP35s which were rebuilt as GP39Es/Ms/Bs; also for yard/local duties) -BNSF SD60M-3 (ex-BN SD60M; for heavy local trains) -DLCs: Sounder F59PHI As for the BNSF Bellingham Sub, the locos would be the same as the Sounder route, except without the Sounder rolling stock.
