    Not sure if this is the place for this but ever since the December update, my Rotem coaches have no exterior lights. The head, tail, number and gauge lights do not work at all. I've tried restarting the HEP but that doesn't seem to fix it either.

    When trying to fix one of the electrical cabinets near Rancho Cucamonga (the one in the screenshot I took), invisible walls prevent me from getting close enough to trigger it getting fixed. If this can be addressed, that would be great. Thanks!

    If someone can spare 10 mins. Can you confirm the Weekend Timetable (10:10) with SD40-2 (layered from CajonP) can be completed. It is a short shunting task only. Some AI train is making it impossible to complete.

    No chance, as soon as you have passed the last switch it turns and the AI train sets off. No way to set the switch back again to get to your cars. Waiting for the train does not help, as the AI train does not set off until you have passed the last switch. This service cannot be completed without deleting the AI train.

    I noticed this the other day using the F125 on San Bernardino and its the same with the F125 on Antelope Valley, the AIR BRAKE SETUP reads as TRAIL - CUT OUT. Shouldn't that say lead and cut in? I had the valve set to passenger and could not seem to manipulate that screen in any way to change the brake setup. I seemed to have functional brakes but is there some switch somewhere I am missing or is this just a bug?

    Maybe it's time to finally lift up the hoses on MP36? They are clipping through the rails at the switches. Also dwarf signal lights visible through dashboard.
    Sometimes(edited: most of the times) flange sounds of the loco are immediately cut off without any fading.

    And please remove the tinting effect on windshield in both locos. Is this was an attempt to balance the overbright lighting in game? Or this is another bug with eye adaptation?

    I’m not sure if this was already mentioned but what is the deal with Slow crossing gates and limited to no sound incorporatted with the crossing gates ?

    DTG , Please fix the poles clipping through the Pomona station both on the Crossing gates and one by the Freight Tracks by the Pomona Building , while you’re at it I wouldn’t mind if you could address the cars clipping by the Kaiser yard ..


    I wonder if they need more Beta Testers

    Yeah I noticed that a while back. You're correct it should be lead/cut in. The brakes themselves work fine but the display doesn't correct itself. I reported that but it is one of those things where who knows if it will ever be fixed.

    Its also funny because at the same time I think the alerter has issues on the AVL one but works on the SBD one. So it is like pick your preferred bugged display.

    Yet another example of the insane way DTG releases locos, where instead of just having one core version that they can focus on making perfect, they copy and paste the same locos across multiple routes and end up with different bugs in all of them which must be a disaster to keep track of and fix. Theres like 10 different Class 66s across different DLC and they all have different functionality and bugs. You need a spreadsheet to know which one to pick.

    But I digress.

    This route definitely has alot of cars going through level crossings right into your path. Kinda jarring for a second until you remember you'll just pass through them. I don't know if its what sir#5236 is talking about but at Kaiser Yard cars spawn in right on one of the tracks, a north side track you often use when you have to reverse back to the west to park.

    y know, a lot of ppl in the US and in general try to run railway crossings, so in a black joke way, this is very realistic :D ... minus the impact, of course

    Yes , the cars spawning on the tracks by Kaiser yard is annoying .. I've noticed even with AVL Route , we still got huge boulders stuck on gates building & cars floating.. And the roads on the left as you head towards Newhall are really bad .. They seem to rush US Content but take their time on others ...

    Can we get at least one route with normal working station lights, please?
    Started at San Bernardino in early motning(still dark night) and station lights are already turned off.
    Why are we so dependent on mods that are supposed to fix all the DTG laziness? Unfortunately, the mod that fixes the scenery ligths cycle on the routes has not been updated for a long time

    are you on series x too yeah? I’m gonna raise a ticket, not sure if you’ve already done the same. I’ve only recently starting submitting them tho and they seem to go ignored which is frustrating to the point where I may just walk away from this franchise now

    I think the issue is related to the fact that the station light times don’t change to accommodate the seasonal changes. So the time they go on and off might work in July but in December leaves them pitch black at certain hours.

    Just a quick note that that's a nice poster of signal rules, but they are from around 1988. If you have a route set in the 80s to mid-90s, they would be fine. Anything more modern needs a difference reference.

    313 Part 2. Arrival in LA is indicated at 08:22. However, the player train actually arrives at 08:02.

    elevator penalty ? Cal State !!
    Used my first elevators... 3 of them ... terrific, but i RAN into the first, but somewhere along the way was reduced to a Walk on foot. Could not fix that. Of course, here on PS5 station hopping On foot is a Live Map challenge. The map locks up, i go out to PS5, go back into the game, pop off the map labels, push my O button and escape. Worse would be locked in an elevator!
    Tried setting and resetting Option to get back my Run for On Foot, but had to go to Main Menu, return to re-load SB route, go to timetable, chose On Foot, picked Union Station and was back to running.
    The SB route has other oddities at Rancho Cucamonga where if you step off the north platform between tracks, an odd wall effect begins ... you can either get up without Step Up or not get up at all even using Triangle button. Really weird. I tried to make sense of it ... it is like leaving the track at some level crossings. Weirdness of walls may ensue.

    315 Part 1 is broken. It's impossible to get to Rancho Cucamonga, because the switch (shown in the screenshot) is not set to the main route, and it's impossible to switch it manually.
    Solution: Remove AI freight locomotives that are spinning around Kaiser Yard. It's won't even go there. How does it manage to block that switch?

    Can anyone explain this odd braking behaviour I'm getting with the ES44C4 on SBL?

    I was attempting service BNSF R-CAL6011 - Kaiser Road Switching which starts at 0800 and I kept getting these instances where the red traction lock box would appear around my throttle setting on the HUD and the brakes would start to apply. The only way to clear it was to turn off the alerter (though it says Cab Signals On\Off when you toggle the alerter) and pull the power to back to Idle.

    This video shows it happening a couple of times:


    It wasn't happening all the time along the route and as I played more it seemed to only happen at 24mph or faster. This happened several times on the way out but after picking up the cut of boxcars it didn't do it again on the return trip until about 3 miles from the stop point at Kaiser yard. The alerter is not beeping at me when it happens so I'm at a loss as to the cause, I don't think this locomotive has any cab signals functionality does it?

    I wanted to test this service with an SD70ACe or SD40-2 but it seems to be an ES44C4 specific service.

    Also I had a sound mod installed when I made the video, I tested it without the MOD and it still exhibited this behaviour.

    339. Timetable says Rialto 18:54. But there is a train at San Bernardino which is blocking another train, which is blocking your train... You will only depart from San Bernardino at 18:55.
    Also why is it green? Bombardiers are with green stripes too. Something wrong with materials on sunset?

    It doesn't annoy me at all. I had fun making up delays. But this takes away points, and some(many?) people loves medals.
    I highly recommend this run(339) to people who don't care about the final score and can tolerate the lack of scnenery lighting at night + eye adaptation bug(when the world is overbrighted from cabview). Spoiler: you will face additional delays.

    Also when will the lights at the stations finally turn on when it gets dark? I'm so sick of this!
    Maybe in TSW42 this will become a core feature? Or is the term too unrealistic? TSW69?

    sounds like some services out of Belmont Park in old LIRR (maybe even in new one, dunno), where you had to wait for a train to arrive at nearby platform, then crawl at like 8 mph, and when you are about to speed up, bam, some kind of ATC stops you from getting to full line speed and you rack up delay :D

    Depot days : I'm found the suitcase on the train, pick it up, gone to the lady, started to talk but I said a had no found.

    Metrolink 304 gets delayed past LA Union Station at CP Marengo since the dispatcher holds them there for Metrolink 313 to pass instead of at the CP Fremont/CP Jordan Siding (the small siding in the middle of the I-10). Metrolink 304 does ultimately go through CP Fremont/CP Jordan siding as well.

    I absolutely love this route to death, but I simply cannot play majority of the services without the timetable jamming or causing incorrect passing points.
    I could sit here until the cows come home and list all of the services that have gridlock/passing issues with exact locations and timings but I would probably die of old age by that point.
    For reference, it is basically all morning and evening rush hour services that gridlock.
    Please for the love of god and mankind, make the timetable playable because it simply should not be out in this state.

    Metrolink 812 is kept waiting at CP Morris (the interlocking next to San Bernardino Downtown) since it has to wait for Metrolink 810Q to depart at 7:20 PM, making Metrolink 812 run around 20 minutes late.

    Yeah, is the same issue as the one that has now been resolved on WCML with the speed lever, game does not register the action when taking the suitcase. Just curious, I took a support ticket for that one much earlier than for the WCML one, so don't know why this one has not been resolved in the same action....

    my only gripe is that the route doesnt have proper safety stuff implemented :D ... I want my beeping inferno fix and the looming possibility of being punished for not adhering to signals :D ... but apart from that, the challenge of managing speed and such, plus the route itself, is super nice, along with AVL :) ... so I wouldnt mind another Metrolink route :)

    Ctrl+= are broken on this route. Instead of TSW4 core feature when ctrl+= teleports player deep underground, there are teleport to the random Bombardier car with stuck in the floor.
    Either fix the teleporter between cabs or turn on the tail lights by default on MP36 & F59.

    Also why is the train 330 have a higher priority than train 335? If 335 will have a higher priority, than 330 will late like 1-2 minutes, but with higher priority for 330, the 335 will late for 9(El Monte)-14(University)-20(LAU) minutes.

    Revisiting this route for the first time in months, courtesy of grabbing it in the PSN sale last month.

    Well 9 months in and there’s still not a single big rig truck visible travelling along the freeways, just the gravel dumper trucks. Come on DTG, this is “Murica” where the trucks are king and in LA just about every third or fourth vehicle ought to be a truck of some kind. Adjust the vehicle spawners to reflect this please.

    The Training Centre “once around” introduces the MP36 but the next Journey element dumps you in the F125…

    …which still seems way overpowered. This thing accelerates faster than the Azuma on ECML. Anything over Notch 4 and you are literally going like a rocket. Conversely, the brakes seem ineffective, I was needing to push up to 50 or 60% to get some efficient stoppage going and the dynamic assistance seems to pick and choose when it kicks in.

    On the aesthetics or entertainment level, that 5 or 6 minutes crawling out of (or into) LAUPT is mind numbingly tedious. Not DTG’s fault I know and even the eastern US passenger routes are afflicted by the pedestrian speed limits around the major termini. However when you just want to get going and give it the beans, can be a tad frustrating.

    DTG cant even model a proper 53ft van trailer that is so very common here in the states.

    There is only so much traffic you can copy and paste in Europe into the US that fit. Semi Trailers are not one of them.

    Surely the EP and production staff all play ATS, from time to time! So they should know the scratch as regards US trucking.

    yeah, I get the safety and switches and whatnot, but those speeds like 15 and less mph... when at EU termini you can regularly see train approaching at 50-60 kph and then braking... once I saw an OBB 1144 + like 4-5 CityJet dostos heading into Wien Franz Josefs Bahnhof, which is a termini with buffer stops... and it was going like 50 kph, and the guy braked it like a boss, like 2m from the buffer lol

    Just started the Rescue At The Ranch scenario on the PS5 version… Here we are nearly a year on and the fact upcoming track speed limits are not appearing on the HUD, reported at the time, was never addressed. How quickly former content seems to be forgotten…
