I have a situation where I bought the TSW Caltrain route with TSW2020 package. Since then, I have been able to install the Caltrain content to TSW2, TSW3 and my currently installed TSW4. I currently do not have TSW5, but plan to purchase in the future. My main question is if I buy TSW5 after February 27th, will I still be able to download and install previously purchased Caltrain content as Compatible Content to TSW5?

If I've understood right, if you own it, you can keep it regardless of which TSW version you use.

Although, whether or not this carries over to TSW versions after 5 is another question.

If we cannot play Peninsula Corridor in the next version, this is another point that TSW6 better not coming, i don't like to keep TSW5 only for 3 dlcs and the others in another version

This will be just the second time TSW content has not carried over from one iteration to the next after the NEC: New York route and trains. Let's hope it's the last.

Third time may I say, let’s not forget the Amtrak SW1000R with the Metroliner cab car, ok the cab car returned in NY-Trenton but not the AMTK SW1000R.

If I understood correctly, the Caltrain content is not coming (yet) in future iterations but DTG is actively working on it:
