Hello, for a longer time now, I am thinking of a remake for Munich Augsburg. Munich is one of the biggest stations in Germany, but in TSW 5 it is a Ghost Station (picture) Are there any plans for a remake? Regards
No plans. Although performance and memory might be an issue if they move to tod4 and remake the timetable

Just because modders can do it on PC does not mean it'll work on consoles though. If I was to hazard a guess, that's the reason (or one of the main ones) they can't/won't do upgrades.
And it even says 16gb of ram is recommended which the consoles don't really have. The route already uses a lot of memory and busy with all the signals and traffic. So expecting it to work smoothly on all platforms is another challenge
Well 16 GB of ram has been the minimum for pc gaming since at least 2015. For older consoles you can just leave the standard Timetable as it is or do a reduced one. However since the vast majority of pc users and last gen consoles have at least 16 gb of ram, ram usage is not a valid excuse to deliver improvements that moders do for free.
The PS4 and Xbox One have 8GB, not 16. The Xbox One X has 9GB of RAM available for games, but that doesn't change much. The Xbox Series X and PS5 would likely be able to run the timetable, but with some caveats. The Xbox Series S would struggle, and I expect the framerates on all consoles would be mediocre at best. The framerate on Munich to Augsburg on a PS5 already hovers around 30fps, which is not acceptable.
I see your points and you might be right. Mag might have some serious performance issues by default and also needs a pass to fix those. I would even pay for a full remaster of the route that include a route upgrade to TOD 4 and new Timetable. I think you agree that the route can be made far better it's just that DTG does not have time to allocate for this. Regarding the ram issue for consoles I was referring to new Gen by having 16 gb of ram, as at some point DTG needs to either drop old Gen completely or do a heavily customized version of routes and timetable for those.
Ich wünsche mir ein umfangreicheres Streckennetz der S-Bahn München mit den Untergrund Stationen Hauptbahnhof, Karlsplatz, Marienplatz, Isartor und Rosenheimer Platz. Und andere Linien außer die S3. Weil auf Dauer wird es langweilig
It's a route in the need of a overhaul like Ruhr-sieg nord. Pretty much every tsw 2020 route needs a overhaul.
