These Dosto routes either sell like hot cakes or someone producing has a big thing for them either because of personal preference or viability from the fact that multiple stock can be re used. I will pipe up again for the Marshbahn. Now the 218 is here we need a route that it can call it's own. Although a 245 could be done as the 'new' loco.
I suspect the former, just as seems to be the case for UK electric bus stop routes. And yes, after trying Marschbahn in Zusi 3, would definitely put that on my wishlist for TSW.
This is somewhat true. But the route was not only extended to Leipzig... there was a third extension (not sure if it´s on steam) towards Seddin freight yard and the original route also includes the branch to Berlin Airport. So that did it make somewhat interesting in it´s final state. But on a operational side it´s not the most exciting. I think another reason is Berlin S-Bahn running along side any mainline in Berlin. DTG would need to make a whole new pool of assets and new rolling stock.
Hamburg to Hanover or a section of the route Koln to Koblenz or a section of routes Hamburg S-Bahn Berlin u-bahn
Rhur Sieg could also do with a Remaster. I still find it's full of interest from an operational point of view. Unfortunately though I think we are in a trap with the hottest sellers are A to B with one handle and shunting etc is seen as too hard. Look at the comments regarding the UK Class 101 also.
RSN could do with a remaster and extending to Siegen for parity with the TSC version. If they made it now, probably would have gone the distance but at that point the game was still feeling its way.
I was pretty certain that at some point we would be getting the Main-Weser-Bahn, connecting Frankfurt to the north, possibly until Marburg and that they would use this to establish the S-Bahn network also towards Hanau, though the city tunnels in Frankfurt. This would have opened up the possibility to establish a future BR420 DLC on one of those lines. However, Lukas was spotted recently on Discord saying that the underground stations at Frankfurt are not going to be happening. In order to still be able to establish a route around Frankfurt that would also host a potential BR420 DLC (as hinted at Gamescom by Lukas) ym best bet would also be the Riedbahn from Frankfurt to Mannheim. Until 2014 the Br420 drove this route between Frankfurt (not going into the tunnels) and Riedstadt. The question would be what new rolling stock would come with this route. We are in desperate need of a newer ICE model, however, with a TT in 2014 this seems unrealistic. The Br420 I would still assume would come as a seperate DLC from TSG some time after release. We will find out eventually. However, its fun to speculate a bit
DTG might as well remaster all routes ... every single one has been listed by players at this point anyway. Should, could, maybe one day.... it´s all just wishful thinking and talking on forums. At the end of day, you just have to accept what DTG serves up on your plate. In TSC you can at least hope for some random person to open up the editor and do it.
Not sure but here https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/project-subway-a-new-railway-game-by-dtg.88940/
The question was posed (by me) on the last roadmap Q&A but, not surprisingly, completely ignored by DTG. So at this stage we don’t know whether they registered the trademark for possible future use or whether it’s an ongoing live development and if the latter whether in house (pulled staff off all their other games) or bought in like CTS.
*heavy breathing* Train Sim Welt, lol... as I love German and Austrian content, I am cool I would love Munchen-Nurnberg with all its variety... or Franken-Thuringen Express route with that special Desiro HC with one extra carriage in the middle... I hope it is sth modern with cool rolling stock (got almost all GER/AUT routes, so I usually have lots of layers )
Hopefully Berlin s bahn or the Munich u bahn. How tsw still doesn’t have a proper U-Bahn is beyond me
Well let’s hope this “Project Subway” is a U Bahn route. I’ve got a feeling it’s just some placeholder name they are using and it’s not Subway related at all but I hope I’m wrong.
Still waiting for the Düsseldorf - Köln line. There was a community project that suddenly became quite. That looked very promising with BR 462. That could also be a route for TSGs 420, which ran on the S68 between Langenfeld and Düsseldorf. So there would be new rolling stock and potential of DLC.
