While I'm very much looking forward to Mittenwaldbahn, I'd like to suggest having a modern version timetable too with the OBB 4024 Talent 1 and DB 442 Talent 2. Also, at Innsbruck Hbf, there would also be lots of AI traffic including from the 1116, ICE and freight etc. All pictures taken by me Innsbruck Hbf Seefeld in Tirol Anyone else interested in a modern timetable version to complement Mittenwaldbahn?
Not interested in Mittenwaldbahn as I only really play UK routes, but the idea behind this is a good one - having a modern timetable alongside the old one. Don't know if it's possible to make relevant scenery changes linked alongside a new timetable, guessing it is as CCL update came with the new loco and timetable, but would be nice to see on other routes too, including WCMLOS. This is a way to have old routes developed, but still have modern options for the same routes for those interested.
I would really like it. I prefer modern routes than old ones. I think it is a great idea, especially for introduce new OBB rolling stock
Thanks, yeah, I think having both a modern and older timetable is very logical - and keeps everyone happy - as what is the chances of the same route ever coming again in the same era, very unlikely. I think scenery changes might be a bit too much, although I'd like that if possible. Realistically though, I think the main thing is to replace the older-era cars and passengers etc to modern-day at least for better immersion. Thank, same here. Yeah, considering all the the relevant modern rolling stock is already in-game and the fact that scenario planner is pretty tedious also.
Something that will be lovely. There will be people that moan and say that the route is out of date with a modern day timetable built over it, it will be the complete opposite to GWE and the Diesel legends pack. I think iteill be a good idea. It who'd be great if it officially made so us console can enjoy it as well
Also forgot to mention that in modern-day, the DB BR 411 ICE-T goes to Innsbruck Hbf via Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Seefeld in Tirol. That's with two services in each direction, with ICE 1206 and 1204 towards Innsbruck and ICE 1207 and 1205 on the return: Picture taken by me
As a counter proposal, it would also be nice to see the 1020 and backdated Class 111 plus Silberlinge coaches get a Railtour layer on some of the older German and Austrian routes. Rhine Valley would be fantastic, as would RSN, DCZ and of course Semmering.
Great idea! Would love it much more than the retro style (even if it's much better than I expected it to be) That's something I'd like for some other routes as well. An updated version like the Island Line 2022 with updated stations, timetable and rolling stock. Would be great for Left Rhine as well
