Without sounding repetitive but it done core update a few days ago and still performance is bad played a few various routes and much blurriness and jittery its really ruining the game and I'm getting fed up now off dtg churning out new routes when there is many issues that they are not addressing.
I switched from a 4K monitor back to 1080, just to try and improve performance in this game. It helped a bit, but I'm still getting horrible laggy moments. I ran Fulda yesterday, and the last 1.5 miles into Frankfurt were horrendous, my FPS was jumping from 2 to 30 at best. It happens mostly when there is another train around or the AP score is updating. Why release new content, then release patches to fix what you just added, allowing know bugs and performance problems to go un-touched? I guess we know where we stand... I have: i9, 32gb ram, 2TB-NVME and an RX6700XT, TSW5 is the worst performing game I own, and the game I've invested the most money on. Bitter pill DTG...
I was on ECML earlier and it ran fine on Series X. In fact I've visited the route a few times this week and it's ran fine each time.
After I get to above 70mph its blurry inside the cab and the train outside looks like its washout and burnt but when I drive the 9 car training fine
Potato PC here... I7 4700 with Geforce 1650 4Gb. I was a bit wary of Mittenwaldbahn being a slide show but much to my surprise (and delight) runs very smoothly, obviously the usual core jitter and glitch, but way better than WCML Shap.
Hmm. Weird. Although I have only been driving the 9 car one, mainly doing York or Edinburgh runs. Issue with the 5 car variant maybe?
