You are entitled to express your opinion. You are entitled to live in hope. You are entitled to be disappointed. It appears that the subscription offer(s) are aimed at new players and have little or no value to those already with DLC (but that is my opinion to which I am entitled).
I have to agree with the premise it is an enticement directed to new players and has no advantage for most long time players. As to North American routes there seems to be only a few developers left creating any content. One of those,TBT, just stopped any development of TSC and is only doing TSW content. Some of the others are adding development of TSW content.
It may not, however Trainz already has a subscription to access content. TSC imo, has no business having such a thing.
I totally get where you’re coming from. The current subscription feels a bit underwhelming if it mostly rehashes content we already own. Your tiered subscription ideas with added perks like discounts, exclusive access, and freebies sound like a much better value proposition. It could really boost engagement and make the subscription feel worthwhile. Hopefully, Dovetail Games takes note and improves it..
