Like on literally EVERY DLC release over the last years, you need to wait 1 or 2 days before the discount apply on xbox shop site
I would reconsider buying the route, as it has no mountain views on Xbox X, which is actually a substantial part of the route.
Yeah, right now I'm holding back. The scenery on this route looks really bad because of the draw distance, whole mountain ranges are missing. Even with the discount coming soon it's still 36 Euro for a scenic mountain route that's missing the mountains. It's really a shame as this is a awesome route and work from TSG.. just not on gen9 Xbox.
Yeah, I'm aware of that. I'm trying to find any youtube video captured on the Xbox Series X to see, how the scenery does look like.
I did not found any Xbox Reviews on YouTube so far for this route. Only PC and PlayStation. Thought BA would make one, but he made it with the PS5
Hi Hypospray, BA has said he will make one with the Xbox. He released one today (captured on PS5 i think) showing a dawn run which starts in Innsbruck, it has the mountain scenery in, so it would be good to have a Xbox 'comparison' video.
Hope they will make a fuss about it on YouTube, Xbox users deserve a fair warning, and maybe then DTG will start prioritizing things.
As Ambassador you can't be to harsh with your criticism I guess. But I'm watching BA for quite a while now, he is always honest about issues and talks about it in an appropriate way. The thing is... Without bringing this up regularly it gets forgotten and nothing will change. You have to be constant vocal about it, even annoying at times, but it's the only way to put some pressure on the matter to encourage someone finding solutions and not just sit it out.
Might be a stupid question but the DLC hasn't some sort of preorder discount for the Steam and Epic Games version either. Why should you have one for the Xbox Gamepass version?

Same here, won't buy it in that state for Xbox Series X. No mountains is no fun in this case. Kills the immersion. Especially when you look at the "nice" screenshots in the Xbox Store. DTG ARE YOU GOING TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE DRAW DISTANCE? You said almost a year ago it's being looked into. I think we deserve an update, or at least more acknowledgement it's still in your minds. To me it looks like a lot of people are holding out on this route because of it, so you might want to start taking it a little more serious.
They did actually acknowledge the reduced draw distance, but in a way to play it down. They never show pictures or doing previews on Xbox. So until, someone from the community or an TSW ambassador doing it you won't see how bad it actually is on Xbox
Well, on the Xbox store there are screenshots showing mountains. This is definitely false advertising... Every single Xbox player who bought this thing should be refunded. That's unbelievable.
l think the Xbox discount is unfair as it’s only given to game pass players. Game pass players can earn extra rewards points to which reduces the costs of the routes. Stop moaning as you get better benefits and discounts over console and steam players. There should be a 10% discount for everyone or not at all.
