Steam Class 380 Brake Power

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day. So, I don't know if i'm wrong but I think that the brake power that has the Class 380 after the update is a little too much, I think. Because when I apply a 3% Brake power, the train slows down like I applied 25% brake power and before I noticed the train stops. I don't if this is a problem or I'm going crazy with all this. Yeah ive noticed this issue, the 380s braking has been nerfed. Like at 30mph, the braking distance for full service is absolutely unnaturally short. I defo think this update has done something to the 380. Just need the devs to see if its actually wrong or not.

I noticed this too, the slightest brake application brings the train to a halt very rapidly, it's hard to brake smoothly.

 

I don't know; I love sporty driving; throw it into a platform at 50 mph and still easily stop. Leave it alone

 

Seems far too strong. Should be realistic and not stop on a dime.

 

This is getting silly, you fix the Class 350's but mess the 380s. Don't just try and neglect one another.

 

I've noticed this too. Even setting the brake to just 1% brings the train to a stop rather quickly.

 

5% brake stops the 380 quicker than it should.

At 15mph, 5% wouldn't slow you down in just a few seconds.

 

I`m sorry for saying this, but it still too much power brake for me personally. I really like the amount of power brake that has in Train Sim World 4. I'm so sorry if I'm asking too much, It's my favourite train and I love driving this train

 

Never driven the 380s in real life, but I can say for the post 2015 units I drove, around 75% brake force should stop a unit from 50mph in about 200-250m. I don't know what the 380 is doing (I don't use it much), but if that adds some context to the discussion I hope it helps.

 

Well anything more than about 7 or 8% on the PBC puts you through the windscreen and it id virtually impossible to gently feather the speed, e.g. when descending the gradient down into Glasgow Queen Street, it becomes lurch, not lurch, lurch not lurch, rinse and repeat!

 

The 80s brakes really need looking at. The 350 also, smooth slow speed shunting and coupling is almost impossible

 

I bought the 380 for xbox cause it's on sale. The brakes are too strong compared to other classes. Should I write a ticket to DTG? It's sad cause I like the 380

I have a log of well over 40 that I took the time and effort to report in great detail and not a single one has ever been actioned.

Most of them are pretty basic stuff as well.
