Would be cool to see montauk and oyster Bay extension for the LIRR with their EMD DE30AC And EMD DM30AC's And possibly even add the MP15-AC's they have
Normally, people want DTG to move on once a route is extended once, but it seems there is demand for a LIRR 3.0 I did not expect this at all!
It would be very cool to have the route extended further east. There has been a high demand for years for the DE/DM30AC as well as the non electrified LIRR branches
I wish they keep extending it. Having a network add so much to the gameplay. Someone at DTG needs to convince their finance people that DLCs for a DLC can be profitable.
Would really like to see an extension. the line that would offer the most DE/DM30AC services, Oyster Bay branch. Second option would be Port Jefferson branch.
with a desirable network like that (from railfans perspective, but also ridership IRL) I was totally expecting ppl to start demanding more once the new version got out
I think Dovetail choosing the Long Beach Branch over Port Jefferson was actually a good idea because if they where to do an LIRR 3, they already set it up to add the west Hempstead and Far Rockaway branches. They’re both a little over 5 miles so wouldn’t be very long to make. It also wouldn’t be a bad idea to add the Babylon branch to Babylon and connect it to Hicksville. Though I think all the end stations wouldn’t fit in the DLC name lol
Would be cool to have but note as the MTA is very strict when it comes to games like this nowadays some key elements would have to be removed when it comes to operating the locomotives.
They Could Just Call it Lirr COMPLETE Addition and actually complete it lol id give DTG my wallet instantly for a Lirr 3.0
