so i noticed that when i click on tab and ctrl + tab on the signal that is in front of me right now, the colors won't change, is it normal or it's just a bug, right now i'm driving a class 47 cfr in bucharest nord to see if the colors from the traffic lights or whatever it is called could change but when i press on the tab button, it always tells me that requested for pass is approved or something like that like that is a weird bug
It does happen sometime. Usually on freeware routes If you change something in a Scenario you push the play button - But first Pause it and click Reload and the signals should work.
apologies for the very late response but when i press on ctrl + tab and it tells me that the request to pass signal at danger approved is there's something wrong?
In real life? Signals can be faulty in real life - the Driver would contact the Signalman for permission to go past a Red Signal. But you must use the TAB key in the game as you won't know if it the points are correctly set.
But the thing is that the signals are always red and not changing colors, is this a bug? I tried pressing tab and ctrl+tab to get permission to pass the danger signal and it always tells me that the request to pass signal at danger approved, did i broke something?
Romanian routes are not provided by one of the more reputable TSC vendors. I have steered clear of abstract routes whose pedigree is not necessarily up to par. I suspect there are not many people on here who owns those routes. I would not expect any good feedback to help you apart from generic comments.
That happened to me on a DTG route last week - I stopped at a Signal, used TAB and got permission to Pass the Signal at Danger. If you find it happening a lot on your route try restating the Scenario. When I swapped a loco in a Quick Drive the Signal did not clear so I restarted the Scenario and it was ok.
Time to worry is when it says "Denied", then you need to work out why. Don't forget that if you are trying to access a track that has stock on it (even if a long way ahead) and not protected by another signal, the signal is correct and you need to get permission to pass the red so as to couple to that stock or just to park in that siding/track.
