Hello everyone, I've done a bit more research on how this website works and thought I’d make a third suggestion—the Abbey Line. This would be similar to the other branch lines that have been added as free updates to existing routes. In this case, it would be an addition to the WCML (West Coast Main Line) Euston - Milton Keynes route. This route would feature the Class 350, as it has operated here numerous times and is one of its main operators (to the best of my knowledge). The stations included would be: Watford Junction Watford North Garston Bricket Wood How Wood Park Street St Albans Abbey As I’ve mentioned in previous threads, I’m a southern boy and have absolutely no knowledge of London whatsoever! Since we already have Watford Junction (Platform 11 and the main station), only six new stations would need to be added. If Dovetail wanted to be REALLY generous, we could even get the Class 319! Regarding the Class 350, we would likely see the 350/2 variant, as they are the ones that run on this route. The main reason I’d love to see this train is simply because of the absolutely insane horns they have! Anyway, what do you think? Again, I’m pretty new to all this, but I’d really love to see this branch line added!
YES YES YES PLEASE, To extend this Would be the best as:.. This route links The West and Midland Main lines Overhead Powered Short route with only six stations, so the price should not exceed 10-12 pounds
I Dont Understand, St Albans Abbey Station Is literally A 5 Min Walk From St Albans CITY Station Which Is on The ECML- Ok never mind i just checked and I Mistook ECML FOR MLL Or is it I Mistook MLL For ECML
St Albans City Station is on the line that East Midlands Railway run on - the Midland Main Line The ECML - East Coast Main Line - is the one that LNER run on. Hope that helps
I think this route would be brilliant however I think DTG should innovate new DLC that attaches on to previous DLC so we could get this WCML I'm not a developer but this would be a great addition to start off branch lines
The Abbey line would be a nice addition now we have two fantastic TT mods..if we cant go further north the short branches would be a nice welcome to this Line (Even Bedford). Every time I'm train spotting at Watford and look over to the 350 at platform 11, I just want to board and head out on that small line...
indeed, went down there with my scotrail class 47 and it just ends after that industrial building, glad some is made!
