    Hi all.

I'm fairly new to the game, so am probably missing something obvious, but I'm having a problem with this scenario:

West Somerset > Timetable > Class 08 BLU > Empty Stock Move to Bishops Lydeard - 10:45

I just can't get the thing to move. All brakes are (supposedly) released, Reverser set to forward, power is applied... nothing happens.

I can occasionally get it moving, but not very quickly, and it sounds from the screeching as if the carriage brakes are still applied, even though all available brakes show as released. This is backed up by the fact that if I shut off power, there's no coasting, just an instant stop.

I thought it might be a glitch, as I've had glitched brake issues on one or two other scenarios which were resolved by restarting... but I've restarted this scenario multiple times and it's always the same. I've fully applied all brakes, then released them, and nothing changes.

Here's a short video, so you can see what I'm doing, and hopefully tell me what it is that I'm not doing. Thanks in advance for setting me straight.

On the wall behind the driving seat there is a brake selection switch. Switch it over and you should be on your way

Yeah, you have to switch to vacuum brakes.

This is the TSW forum! Perhaps you should just lurk a while longer?

If you reread what rickyt7808 wrote it's pretty clear that it was originally posted in the TSxx forums. Presumably a moderator moved it to these forums.

I don't use TSW forums so only picked the thread up because it was posted in TSxx forums. As SamYeager270 states it must have been moved by a moderator.

    "Presumably"? Based on what, exactly?

"Presumably" becomes "must have been"! "Happens all the time" will surely come along. This line of exaggerated presumption sounds much too familiar.

As I stated previously I do NOT use the TSW forums so why would I have just picked up on this one post. If you care to look at the TSxx forums you will discover that recently there have been several posts that should have gone to TSW forum. e.g. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/editing-driver.18580/
