On Train Sim World 5 during the BR 101 Introduction on Northern Trans-Pennine, the required traction unit cannot be interacted with in any way. This prevents progress in the Training Module, making it impossible to play or complete. As a result, the DMU Driver chapter of the Northern Trans-Pennine Journey cannot be finished. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any potential fixes or workarounds?
#1 If you are trying to complete via Journey, can you complete the training but not via Journey? #2 Do you have an older version of TSW?
#1 I’ve tried completing it outside of Journey mode—no luck. However, when I finished the Tees Valley Line BR 101 Introduction, I at least got a green checkmark for the BR 101 Introduction on Northern Trans-Pennine. #2 I have older versions of TSW, but this was TSW5.
Just to confirm this is a known issue that seems to be an unintended result of core changes made in the mid-February update. A fix has been submitted for review, and we hope to work this into the next game update. No date has been set for the next update yet.
