I’m new to the community so hopefully I’m posting this in the correct category. Not sure if this has been brought up yet but will there be an Acela train in Train Sim World for PS4?

Man, I sure hope so. That would be sick. But no, nothing has been announced yet, if that's what you're asking.

Yes, that’s exactly what I was asking. Thank you. Really hope they add it.

Do you know if the entire northeast corridor is playable in the current sim? Seems like Newark Airport, Newark Penn Station, New York Penn Station & New Rochelle are the only options.
    Maybe I’m not seeing it...

As far as Amtrak goes, those locations that you listed are some of them, but I'm not sure if it's the ENTIRE Northeastern Corridor. The CSX part ties into the NEC a bit (you'll see the occasional Amtrak train roll past as you're moving freight), but CSX basically has its own line in the NEC map. That's about all I know, though.

NEC, runs down to Washington DC up to the New York area, so an Acela add on could be possible but it might be too big, CSX also runs in the DC area up to Philly.

Of course the New York area also.
