Do you guys have uh odd feeling that some of the DLC they are producing gonna carry to TSW6. Just like TSW5. I kinda find it very interesting that there is so much production going on in TSW that the transfer is eminent flow from one thing to another. I kinda have a feeling that there will be some DLC that will transfer to the next chapter of TSW6. The time stamp is wide open. Not to long until the new one arrives. Find it very interesting. What it called again DTG DIRECT the count down.

Well, that's obvious. They have been doing this from the start. Announce something to be coming for TSW N, only for it to get released for TSW N+1 only. New add-ons, features, bugfixes...

Although at present there are no “big” UK or US routes mentioned on the Roadmap, so either those are being developed under wraps for the late summer update, or they have run out of ideas or people to work on them. Or in the case of America they are genuinely stuck as none of the railroads or transit authorities wants to work with them or offer any more licensing.

Better than even chance this Frankfurt S-Bahn network ends up being the TSW6 or whatever core German route.

Surely they can’t have run out of ideas for the uk. London Underground, riviera line, extended WCML just to name a few

I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the German route and the 420 is part of the deluxe edition

Well there's certainly no shortage of suggestions regardless of era, which is why it's strange to not get at least a veiled reference to something in the pipeline.

The only time you wont be able to use your content in a new TSW game is if DTG switch to unreal engine 5.
It would require too much work to bring all the UE4 content to UE5.

I would just download the newest version before you go to bed. Once you get up it will all be down happy training

Personally said this before and I'll say it again. DTG need to stop with the yearly release of TSW. They need to go down the World of Tanks/World of Warships route.

Keep the core updates free, and work to improve stability, performance and enhance the quality of life of the product. Not be governed by a yearly release schedule and then make money off the DLC's they release.

It would stop the constant yearly redownloading all your DLC's for the new version and would probably make performance a hell of a lot better.

There is no TSW6, so it is all speculation and it does not make any sense to me.

You know if you're honest with yourself that it's coming.....
Pretty sure they won't go to UE5 as they haven't really got to grips with UE4....

It's the same every year at this time. The roadmap gets lean with new routes in core countries and the speculation engine fires up!

german route (frankfurt s-bahn) may even be but not 420 since it is from a third party developer (tsg)

btw, I've been waiting for 420 since tsw2, it would be mean to postpone it to tsw6 :(

They never will get to grips with UE4 lol. The game will be in the same state as it is 3 years from now. I think the game is unfixable at this point, one bug fix leads to two more bugs added to the game.

As long as they do what they did with TSW5, I personally couldn't care if there was a TSW6.

They explained themselves a while ago. A relaunch as a "new product" means much more interest, sales in both the new and older DLC.

That’s my biggest issue with a new game each year. As frustrating as it is having a new game with even more bugs each year I’ve learned to get used to it and accept it, but having to go through the rigmarole of transferring all my dlc each year is seriously tedious

There are undoubtedly internal teams at DTG working on UE5 but beware that no existing content will work under UE5. Some UE5 based games look outstanding particularly lighting which TSW5 & UE4.xx struggle with. I’m sure DTG could do better in a lot of aspects with TSW but I really believe they are lazy with the programming. This is noticeable when a ‘fix’ comes out only to break another part of the game.
Finally, although DTG do not acknowledge any existence of TSW6 the world and his wife know its coming…..

Also many recent games made on UE5, although looking good, are not optimised. In some game’s description on steam I once read “This game uses Unreal Engine 5, so performance issues can occur, make sure that when playing online the friend with best pc hosts the lobby”
    Imagine performance of TSW then

I think when UE5 came out it was mentioned a few engineers were messing around with it seeing what it can do that 4 can't etc

People think the stuttering is bad now. 125mph in UE5 would be horrid.

How many times are we going to have to do this until people realise the pattern, I though 5 would be enough, maybe 10?

I believe it’s quite the opposite. They have some licenses like MBTA and Metrolink who are greatly working with them when looking at both the new routes. Hell even Metro North seems to be working with them fine because of the TSW: VR. I think that they fear that people will most likely will get burnt out with those same operators over and over. I don’t remember what live stream it was but I think Matt said something along the lines of “I think people got kind of burn out with Metrolink and California” can’t remember exactly though..
They have the Amtrak license but don’t seem to want to use it. Does anyone know if they’ve tried SunRail or Tri-Rail in Florida? LIRR seems fine with them using there license as long as they follow the guidelines that are set on the new routes I’m guessing, might be wrong.

I thought people predicting TSW3 with certainty based on a brief glimpse of an icon was a bit of a stretch. Then I thought the "evidence" of TSW4 was even more so. Now I just keep quiet.

I see my self having less time for TSW. Currently im thinking about uninstalling the sim for more ssd space.
So highly likley there wont be any further purchaises from me as well.

I think tsw lost its "red path" or called vision. Yes it follows the main purpose which is releasing dlcs, locos and routes.

But the way customers have to deal with unpolished releases after paying 45 bucks, going from franchais number TSW 456789....., its just a cheap cover up for the mess DTG is in. Features get advertised and dropped 1 year later. For me as a supporter, this is totally inacceptable.

So either way Tsw 6 is coming or not, for me this hype is over for good.
