Here’s everything on sale for Xbox (spoiler alert it’s pretty bad) 25% off on the holiday Metrolink F125 25% off on the HKA hopper 25% off on the db br 111 60% off on the class 700 60% off on the class 313 80% off on east coast way 60% off on Birmingham cross city 60%off on Cathcart circle honestly feels like we got the short end of the stick again, first no last chance sale on the Caltrain stuff and now the smallest spring sale (yep smallest so far unless epic makes a even smaller sale that’s very unlikely) (don’t know but it’s technically possible to get part 2 sale but I doubt that will happen this time, that’s normally a summer and winter sale thing)
I honestly feel like Xbox’s sales compared to every other platform have always been terrible. Ever since I first started playing TSW back in the 2018/19, our discounts have been dire. Steam literally have half the game at historic lows. PS have a great selection of routes and locos at over 50% off. And Xbox have three routes (that most people probably have) and a few locos. Embarrassing. Especially, when within their roadmap they said that great discounts would be across all platforms…yeah, thanks Dovetail.

Im used to being shafted on xbox sales now there just so bad. Xbox never get a good sale thats down to Microsoft not DTG I'm afraid
And only UK items (Except for the mid Add-On pack things)??? They just don’t care about the other countries or what. It really seems like this (hopefully) is some part 1 of a bigger sale
My problem is I don't wait for sales, cave in and buy it with a 10% Gamepass discount. And then unfortunately there is nothing on sale I want or need ( like Arosa Aggregates, UP livery pack. I know I'll rarely play. Don't really like frieght and don't really play Arosa at least for really long periods time.) But thats just me and my addiction.
I honestly wonder if DTG actually tries to get a better deal with Microsoft or is satisfied with this current situation with sales. I just really hate how we are the only ones getting bad sales, like give another platform a bad sale for once and stop picking on us Xbox players
I’m telling you now this has everything to do with game pass and nothing else. It just doesn’t make logical sense for Microsoft to deny dtg sales. Surely more sales equals more profit for both. it’s an utterly bizarre situation
Your right I reckon if game pass didn't exist we would way better sales their argument is with game pass you get 10% all the time witch is still [EDIT - Jan - Language]
Not really TSW 4, or 3 I can't remember which one, was not released day one on game pass and it didn't produce any more sales than when it was on gamepass.
I have everything apart from the 101 expert locomotive and the Metrolink F59PHR but am not bothered about getting them yet. I bought some discounted gift cards at a good price which l intend to use for the next German route, the Dutch, Japenese and Manchester Airport routes, when they are released It’s disappointing for those who play TSW5 on Xbox and haven’t got many add-ons in their collection, that there is not more in this sale. Some products have a 60% to 80% off. We never have a sale where everything is reduced on Xbox like we have on a Steam sale! Microsoft, what about a Christmas sale with everything 30% off?
