    Hello all,

Loving my time on wcmlos and Blackpool branches. Two fab routes.

Been playing recently and encountered a few problems of sorts or glitches or at least don't know if they are or if they are changes.

When starting a service from timetable menu it says its on foot sometimes for some strange reason. Why is this?

With the 47, what brakes do I need to use for the oil waggon/ tanker services. Is it air brake goods and will it affect the train if I select wrong one? When are they vacuum? For some reason there was a moment where I had to clear the brakes as the vacuum brakes were still applied on the guage seemingly. Then when cleared I switched to air brakes good.

Why do actjon points seemingly not appear anymore??

Been happening a few times now.

    On Blackpool and wcmlos etc.

    Attached also a few images.

Also why are the oil waggon services seemingly limited to 45mph? Who decides these limits?
Similar with the steel train runs.

    Playing on ps5.

Shame also about no new announcements yet. Hopefully soon and a fix to guard mode on class 87.

    A bug

Most of the wagons the both route are air braked I believe, if you select the wrong one the brake just won’t work

    Possibly a bug

So these are limited in speed because they are in real life. When transporting heavy freight the speed that these trains are able to go at depends on a wide range of things like the wagons and the loads. Basically it'd be unsafe to have a fully loaded tanker going at 100mph because of the size and weight of the train it'd take an age to stop.

In this age BR set the freight speed limits. For example of the grey mineral wagons with the brake van these are actually unfitted so there are no brakes on the actual wagons so they were limited to around 25mph I believe. The small wheelbase boxvans and wagons with 4 wheels were limited to around 45mph depending on the amount of vehicles in the train with/without brakes again for safety because those vans were prone to derailing at higher speeds :)

You may find these an interesting read I have them saved just because I like to do the correct limits etc although this was mainly for PFR and SOS hence the steam Lamp codes etc :)
